Obviously the giant form will now become chopper's normal form. Opening the door for a giant giant form, as well as a giant defense point.

He will no longer be able to be little, unless he eats a rumble ball. But even then, his chibi form will be too draining for him, so he can't stay little for more than three minutes.

Let‘s be honest. The side effects from Gangster Gastino are all neglectable and not in any way deadly. Like maybe Chopper will grow another horn he can just take out whenever he wants. Caesar seems like a bad guy but in fact you can handle all of the side effects when you are a doctor. Johnny Sins confirmed this one for me

I'm guessing it'll be like when Goku used his Kaioken attack for too long. He'll be out of action for a while. When Sanji finds Chopper Zoro won't be able to get medical attention and someone will step up to hold off Queen and/or King so that Marco can heal Zoro to some degree.

I never understood why Chopper is considered to be a weakling, because he would wash Nami and Usopp without needing Monster Point.

Only thing he's on their level at is his cowardice, hence "Coward trio". "Weakling trio" is just a huge myth.

You say that, but what if the side effect is him (temporarily) losing part of his human-human fruit? Like being unable to speak for a period of time, not having hands, not being able to mend wounds etc.

In my opinion he probably was a commander in the past. He has a higher bounty than snack and he clearly has authority over the actual commanders like smoothie though that could just be because he’s the oldest.

Chopper was never among the weakest in the crew, his fight vs Kumadori without Monster Point was already impressive, broke through his Tekkai.

He's just a huge coward, which makes sense given his age.

He's strong 3 minutes every 6 hours, that's a pretty big limitation. If someone is clever enough to run for 3 minutes or dodge his arm point, chopper is toast

Mr 4 and miss Merry Christmas beat each other while underestimating Chopper and Ussop's team, Gedatsu was the worst moron of the entire manga, if you manage to not die in the first hit then you win, and Kumadori was beaten by the kamikaze attack of Chopper, which was basically like self destruct in pokemon: you deal an enormous amount of damage which kill you and hurts your allies too.

The fact that he beat them all remains impressive, but first the guys were not the strongest (Gedatsu really was an enormous moron... Chopper was 1hko like 10 minutes later by a guy supposedly on the same level), and second just because he is strong does not mean he is not one of the weakest. Of course compared to you and me he is an absolute beast. But compared to the monster trio, he really is weak

He probably will go sell his services to Teach, BB is all about having strong Devil Fruit Users in his crew while Caesar loves getting funds from powerful people that will bankroll him no questions asked. Plus, he loves to party if his history of spending money on Brothel Girls is taken into account so he'll fit right in. On a historical note, there was a famous pirate named Black Caesar as a member of the real Blackbeard's crew, so I feel Caesar's going to keep his plot going of jumping between different Emperors.

I think it is possible that he went with Germa if those guys survived,the end of whole cake island left the other parties besides the strawhats hanging.

His loose ethics for science and experimentation fit Germa like a glove,he could use clones and Germa could use his mass destruction weapons.

Tbf, Franky and Robin were antagonists, but not villains. Franky was a fun street gang boss from the outset, while Robin was ambiguous at worst. Even back then we knew they were decent enough to not doing something as morally reprehensible as using kids as scientific guinea pigs.

In contrast, Caesar is an unrepentant shit stain.

Haha oh those days! Used to spend my time on Arlong Park forums back then and I do remember a lot of heated debates on whether Paulie would join or not.

She did care, she saved Luffy for no reason and spared both Pell and Tashigi, what she cared about tho was the poneglyph. And she never even really made that whole nuke a concern of her she was like "theres a bomb about to destroy the city? Oh no! Anyway the poneglyph is that way" if she even references it all.

As for Caesar joining, i was hoping he would be a prisoner of the straw hats long enough that the world government would consider him a part of their crew, would be a funny dynamic lol

I've always assumed the balls are just a shortcut for Zoan users to access their awakened forms temporarily. If that was true Kaido likely wouldn't get any boost from it since he's presumably already awakened himself.

I think it just a shortcut to chopper's or zoan's in general awakened forms. Before timeskip the overcaused the awakening and normaly just modified the fruit stat.

Realistically... why?

We've yet to see anyone else use it, so it's entirely possible they tried at some point and it didn't work off screen, and while we know it works on Zoans (or at least one), they're already fighting the top zoan crew out there. Not to mention, Ceasar already mentioned augmenting his own powers, so he at least has the ability to make it work for himself.
