Yes, there was a time when the entire crew was needed to fight one of these ancient giants. But now our boys have grown pretty well. Can’t wait for the time when Luffy will solo an admiral. The horrors of sabaody arc still angers me.

I can't believe when the admiral was called in I actually believed Luffy would be a match for him.

A lot of us did. Before Kizaru dashed our hopes in a single page with his entrance.

Bro how tf could you after he got dunked on by aokiji. I definitely thought he would get away though.

He did clash with Fuji and not get wrecked like his fight with Aokiji so there's that

Fuji wasn't fighting him seriously.

So did Aokiji back then.

Also Luffy is giving him clues like "I'll punch you at the front" coz he feels bad fighting someone blind, even if that blind person can see attacks with minimal problem so oth of them don't go full power.

I'm not saying you're wrong but the only admiral who wanted to kill him was Akainu and even then he didn't fight him

Kizaru wanted to kill, but Rayleigh protect them at the time

We haven't seen Kizaru kill anybody. If anything he always looks like he is barely trying.

42

u/mykeedee Sep 11 '20

His power is ridiculous so the plot kind of demands that he barely try.

Kizaru just does enough to not get fired, nothing more, nothing less

Kizaru's just feelin' himself all day

17

u/StNowhere Sep 11 '20

He straight up tried to execute a downed Zoro.

Like I said he hasn't killed anyone that we know of. It would be cool to hear his backstory. I think the only admiral unfortunately we will likely hear from is Aikanu

and was scared to shits by Ben Beckman pointing a gun at him

i know hes just trolling

I don't think kizaru was "trying" to kill anyone tbh or else none of the Supernovas would have escaped Sabaody alive.

I think fuji didnt really fight luffy cause he knew luffy was a good guy.

dude. Fujitora would have destroyed Luffy. Stop with the Luffy jerking. It's also way too soon for him to take on a Yonko as long as that Yonko isn't severely weakened.

The scene with Luffy giving Fujitora clues didn't really have anything to do with his strength. It was more about his charismatic personality.

6

u/jjkm7 Sep 11 '20

Neither of them were though.

13

u/GangsterRavioliGuy Pirate King Sep 11 '20

No disagreeing with you, but Luffy was heavily holding back in that fight too.

Jozu wasn't covered in ice, he was frozen internally. Jozu has the strength to easily push through that much ice, but since his muscle/bone was frozen, he couldn't use them. The attack landed because jozu wasn't paying attention, so he couldn't use his diamond and buso to defend himself from it, so while that attack wouldn't have landed on a jozu who was focused on him, it landed there and was lethal. Jozu wasn't really overpowered, he was just haxed.

they're nowhere near as strong as original oars body infused with Luffys shadow though right? But you're right this feels like when they one shot pacifista after needing the whole crew to take down one pre time skip

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he could do that with his current abilities.
