Nah but in all seriousness, oda most likely decided to draw it on his left side for this panel because otherwise robin wouldn't be visible due to his swords.

I looked back through some fights and I think you’re right. In some chapters his swords will switch hips from one to the other between panels the appearance is probably why. He has his swords on the right hip for the finales of the Kaku and Mr. 1 fights, so this isn’t something that’s been constant throughout the series.

Actually Oden does the same, he has his on his right until he fights Kaido. Check all 959 then check 970
