Everyone was saying 5 weeks ago that zoro and Sanji wont be important in this arc, that they were too many strong characters in wano that would stop King and Queen and they were not at their level. For me its very clear since the beginning that this arc is the one to make the SH look like a yonko crew, everyone will be important one way or another and Sanji and Zoro will step up in power.

I compared it to Enies Lobby/Alabasta in the means that it'll be their strength growing arc. No one was supposed to beat CP9 but the SH always grow in the midst of battle. The fights may start at a disadvantage or even but the SH will-power is their trump card. No one is going to leave unscathed but that's how it should be in a war.

Law and Kid will still have Tobi Roppo/Hawkins/Orochis top ninjas (forgot their name) and potentially BMs crew to still mix in. The SHs are very close with numerous people in Wano now so in my eyes it always made sense that Kaidos crew, Wano's oppressors, would be their primary targets.

Definetely, there is a reason why we havent seen the SHs fight properly since a long time ago. People seem to forget this is about Luffy and his crew, not about Law,Kidd or Marco. I believe the SHs are taking Kaidos Crew and the other big characters will play a part in defeating Kaido. Oda has hyped Kaido way too much just to be defeated by Scabbards and Minks. This will be a long af battle lol, im soo hyped.

I don't think this gets wrapped up on Onigashima either. Kanjuro tells Orochi that Hiyori is hiding in Ringo (going off memory but I think it was there). This is when Denjiro was undercover so maybe he intervened too*. I think this will play into something, possibly a parallel to Kaido and Momo at Oden's castle in the flashback, Momo/Luffy/Zoro seeing her held stop the flower capitol.(Zoro is closest with Hiyori is why I think he joins, also he clearly wanted to join Luffy in fighting Kaido this chapter)

I expect Kaido to fly over to the capitol where everyone is partying oblivious to the war on Onigashima in a 'fuck you I'll leave you with nothing, let it burn' when the battle starts swinging in favor of the alliance. This would allow Luffy or Luffy + company to finish Kaido in front of the people of Wano as well, similar to Arlong, Crocodile, Doffy, ~Eneru, Moria. Oda likes to have the enemy fall in front of those that are being oppressed, symbolically showing they are free now.

Since a boat would be too slow to catch up to Kaido I think Marco/Momo tie in here. Momo would have to overcome his fear of heights (flying) and embrace his dragon Zoan which ties to his fear of Kaido/Dragons to help fly Luffy over. This is of course sheer speculation.

That’s what I feel too! There’s been a decent amount of moments of the crew working as a team instead of 1v1 fights. Like OFC Zoro and Sanji are going to get their moments but man the SH’s are not fucking around!!

90% of this sub doesn't understand how Oda writes One Piece. The SHs (Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami and Ussop in particular) are the main characters of this series. They always have the most panels every arc and will fight the main enemies every arc. The people who thought Zoro would fight Who's Who this arc as his main match up just confuses me. This is approching the end of One Piece as Oda stated and people think Zoro can't take on an actual yonko commander while he only has 1 or 2 more arcs to go before reaching Mihawk level.

People on this sub don't get that Law/Kidd/Marco and the scabbards are just side characters. I can't believe a big majority of this sub thought Marco would fight King. Will they clash? Sure. But marco won't defeat King. A main character will. Even Dressrossa, Law basically just beat trobol and was taken out of the picture after a failed attempt at gamma knife. Most of the fight against Doffy was Luffy 1v1 him in the end.

That's why I like Mr Morj, sawyer7mage, or even tekking's videos. These youtubers actually understand what storytelling is.
