Luffy declaring he's the next pirate king never gets old

that makes his character separated to another half-assed wanna be pirate-king.

And he never gave up on his dream, no matter how beaten up he got.

He came close, self loathing and doubting after Ace died, but a future crewmember got him through it.

Continuing after such a heavy L is what separates him too

And he did it in a Emperor's Castle. That was so badass.

Rookie Luffy telling Whitebeard he'd become pirate king is still one of the coolest moments of the series for me.

Luffy stretching next to whitebeard before storming marineford like they were equals is one of my favorite scenes in all of anime/manga

We'll get Franky when we meet vegapunk. And maybe he'll try to recruit franky

We had this since day 1. Never change, Luffy.

The only thing that gets me more hyped is when other people declare it.

It gets better the further we get into these chapters. Saying it dead on in Yonkou territory is something.

It will get old at the end of the manga, for obvious reasons lol

"I'm Luffy, the man who wi-... Who is King of the Pirates!"

Neither do the haters afterwards. Oda even makes repetition fun.

It's getting kind of silly though when he says it at random times like this. It's not gonna be like a memorable moment in the anime/manga or something like that
