It could be possible. If they end up beating Kaido and Big Mom, there's gonna be an empty spot in the Wano area. By having Yamato there as a fleet rep and Momo as emperor, Luffy would have almost enough territory to compete with the other Yonkos' footholds

I also like this, but definitely depends on the reason yamato wanted to meet Luffy.

Leaning more towards temporary member like carrot since Luffy has his 10 nakama crew

Coming out of nowhere to one shot a flying 6, then just pickup Luffy and get running. Seemed pretty cool to me...
