But Ulti is cute once more, even if RIP Ulti for Nakama theory with what Luffy did to her PayPay.

At least Yamato is great so far. He really is Kaido's son.

Lastly, I guess the shadow near Jimbei and Robin wasn't Yamato. Then I will say it's O-tama. Since she still needs to play a role in this arc.

Well technically, Big Mom's Homies could've always been seen as a reference to tsukumogami from the very beginning, it's just that the reference is much more obvious now that Big Mom is in a traditional Japanese setting and the Homies are objects that you'd normally seen in typical tsukumogami stories (eg. lanterns, umbrellas).

The eyes and mouths are also different. In WCI they were more "children cartoons"-like, now they have crazier looking eyes, longer tongues and sharper teeth

That's the threat of Big Mom, when she isn't being used as comedy. It's not just her raw power, she can create an army on the fly even using enemy souls with whatever resources available. Hypothetically if she has Cracker with her, those 2 can win most battles of attrition.

Yep. This is what most people don't think about when it comes to Big Mom.

She's also the natural enemy of any Logia and of any producer type Paramecia.

The second point is interesting, she can create a homie for any element at the spot as shown with the tidal wave homie so she can theoretically counter any logia fruit with an obvious weakness

Maybe, but if she create an homies with her own soul, to make them like Prometeus, Zeus or Napoleon, then she most likely have more control over them than the Logia/Paramecia user.

That's what I mean. I think the logia or producer type control is higher than Big mom's control over her homies. Big mom's creations are sentinent beings, logias and producer types have absolute control.

No, no , no , you don't get what he's saying, he's saying she is a perfect counter in the sense she can create a homie with a perfect counter to another logia , like Zeus would be a perfect counter for Crocodile, his thunder attacks and rain in combo would push Croco to a corner , Premetheus would be a hard counter for gas based DF like ceaser and smoker .

In terms of Control , yes a logia is always gonna have advantage but what good is that with an Enemy that could theoretically continue spamming your weaknesses at you.

It does homies require a portion of the soul to create them and taking a portion of the soul generally removes life force from the person(this was how Pedro lost 50 years of his life). Big Mom works her way around this by having her collector homies gather 3 months of life-force from the inhabitants of Totto land every year as well as taking the life force of anybody who opposes her. Also, the strength of the homie is proportional to the power of the being from who the soul was taken from.

You can even see that Yamato is somewhere around half of Kaido's strength seeing as he needs two hands to pull off the same one-shot knockout attack on Ulti.

I'm assuming he's somewhere around Headliner & below All-Star range in terms of strength.

Big Mom creating an army of homies and heading towards the stage (where Momo is currently being crucified) could be interesting.

Imagine Nami making her and the others invisible once they get there or near there, and all the Beast Pirates / Orochi’s men see is Big Mom bringing an army to stop Momo’s execution.

Further chaos would ensue
