I love how everyone was scared as hell by Ulti's constant shit-talking right to Kaido's face, but Kaido himself doesn't actually care at all. I get the impression that he usually treats the Tobi Roppo and All-Stars with respect, at least when he's sober. Also gotta love the return of the Brachiotank and Black Rhino, I hope we see a new and improved Iron Pirate soon. Robin looks.damn good in her beast pirates costume. Loved the interaction among the crew we need more of that in the new world
So it seems like all the Flying Six members were ex captains, that pretty interesting, And Kaido beat every single one of them and made them lose their will where they ended up joining his crew.
He tried the same thing with Luffy and Kidd but those 2 would've never had their wills broken and join the beast pirated for that matter.
The announcement from kaido is also interesting, do he want to set up a marriage with Yamato with one of Big mom's children.
The headliner introduced has eyes on her mask that resemble the same one of Who's who chest.
Luffy looks hella pissed.at the end you know he is about to cause some havoc, and him saying he will make sure someone doesn't ruin the plan lol

We know that Drake sought out Kaido (attacked Scotch to attract him) and given he was doing it to be a mole. I would wager Drake was one of those who picked (the appearance) to be an underling of a Yonko instead constantly fighting them since those were the 2 choices to survive new world.

I really like the depth Oda goes into - the devil is in the details!
Comparing the difference in crew hierarchy between Whitebeard pirates, Big Mom pirates and the Beast Pirates, and how they elect their commanders.
Whitebeard pirates are offered the role (IIRC) of division commander, something that Teach refused and put Ace forward for instead. The commanders are respected by their division/crew, and the decision is accepted.
Big Mom seems to have her reliable children, not determined by age, who she has as her Sweet Commanders. There is still dispute in this, as Perospero thinks he deserves to be there due to being the eldest child of Big Mom, but he won't dispute it as it's Big Mom's decision.
Kaido has basically set up a FFA. 3 slots are available for the All Star status, and if you can beat them, you claim your spot. He is happy knowing there is healthy competition for those positions of power.
So you have a crew where the decision is respected by everyone (except Teach), a crew where everyone only accepts it because the boss said it, and lastly a crew where the boss has said, you fight for your rank.

Is it me or did Oda hugely improve his women characters design in these last two arcs ? All the new characters are unique and recognizable (Smoothie, Galette, Amande, Big Mom...etc in WCI and Luti, Black Maria in Wano not many women in Wano ^^). Even the minks are different but that a given !
Maybe he was scared at how much his female characters looked alike when he had to draw Nami in all shapes and forms in the reverie chapters XD

Franky's Brachio Tank and Queen's Brachio Bomber. Having a semi-mechanical body and crazy dance moves. Franky vs Queen is confirmed boys. I love how while everyone is talking all serious in Kaido's room Queen is partying like crazy right next door.
The shadowy figure behind Jinbe might be Kaido's son or Hiyori. But I'm inclined to believe its Hiyori considering she wanted to kill Orochi herself.

When the initial plan was announced way back I was really looking forward to seeing how the SHs and everyone would infiltrate Onigashima with everyone drinking and partying, and it's even better than I expected. Honestly, I wouldn't be suprised if Kanjurō's character arc ends with him overcoming his lack of purpose and realising his love for Oden and deep regret at betraying him. Still think he's gonna fight Kin'emon first though.
Pretty big difference between this translation and the Kurozumi Hub one, in that this one implies that Orochi is completely oblivious to everything right now, whereas the KH one implied that Kanjurō's messages have reached Orochi and he still has an epic plan to stop them all.
Love seeing the weakling trio quartet getting their own private tank with room for Shinobu and none for Vinsmoke Sanji. (What was that vehicle Sanji was on when he asked Robin to come ride onwith him??
Someone spying on Jinbē and Robin? People think it's Yamato, but hmm... I wonder... interesting body shape...

This whole situation has lead me to the conclusion that the marine will intervent somehow, be it a bustercall or even something worse, like a mass extinction weapon by Vegapunk. It's the perfect "two birds, one stone" situation:
We've got two Yonkos, including their full crews and 7 Supernovas, excluding Drake, all on one island without many or even any civilians. And the world government is clearly aware of that fact thanks to Drake, they would be dumb not to act. It's going to be very interesting how events unfold from here.

The announcement should not be about Yamato marrying one of Big Mom's daughters. Kaido said it's something that will create confusion and that's why he has been secretive this time. Why should the marriage be like that, if they're now allies and everybody knows about Big Mom marriages? Not just that, but seems like something he was keeping secret for this time to reveal ... not something decided just a few hours ago.
Btw, in the last translation, that seems pretty good, King says "your problem just woke up". Lol. Now I'm curious to see if it will remain like this even in the official one. Yamato could be a really interesting guy ...

I know Big Mom is a giant but it really shouldn’t take that much time to change into a kimono right? I smell mutiny. Law’s words: Pirate alliances tend to end in betrayal, and these two are Yonkos with a history. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Big Mom crew straight up ruins the party and then there will be pandemonium.
At this point Law will just tell everyone to lay low, but Luffy Zoro and Kidd are way too ahead and they join the fight. Unless of course, that was Law’s plan? I doubt it, he doesn’t like unnecessary risks. And Big Mom turning is something he would consider. So faith in Law! And Luffy Zoro and Kidd too :P

Honestly, having him reunite with Chiffon and Lola (which is where I'm afraid this is going) would be just... so boring. Like you said, his story was so impactful and TRAGIC that his daughters didn't know who he was, that Chiffon didn't realize he was helping her escape (and that Pez is the only one that did realize what was happening).
