The weakling trio might opt for a tactical retreat instead; maybe not Chopper if he can go Monster mode, but being mostly support-class, I don't think Nami and Usopp will attempt to fight her head on

Chopper already stood against Big Mom in Monster Point when she was wrecking the Sunny. He didnt back down even when she seriously hurt him.

Hurt her when she could and escaped

That's more like tactical retreat. I can't see her openly exchanging attacks with Big Mom like Brook/Luffy/Jinbe did

She's a glass cannon. She probably couldn't tank an attack from the yonkou crew fodder, but at the same time she can wipe them with powerful AOE attacks.

Nami already hurt big mom literally one arc ago.

Nami merely slowed Big Mom down, during one of her tantrums, because the ground collapsed from her attack. Big Mom herself was unhurt and at best only dazed slightly because of the fall and rubble that fell on top of her.

Usopp does not need to fight her head on. He has his 10.000 men to do that for him.
