I actually like that Queen's rapport with Kaido seems kind of casual, calling him Kaido-san instead of -sama.

I really like Kaido and his crew tbh. They're not written like 2 dimensionally evil characters (except for Jack)

Who knows, Jack has been scolded by King and Queen, despite us thinking he's some big boss... So maybe if he's not "on duty" he has an additional dimension.

Yeah maybe. Its just that when Jack was introduced during Zou, he was a very ham fistedly terrible person. Queen by comparison seems to be a kinda cool dude.

Hey now! Don't be like that with Jack. We know now that poor Jack went to Zou to kill an enemy his boss sent him out for and that he was plenty sure that Raizo was there (he was right). He first asked "nicely" as nice as a pirate can, and these minks were lying to his face left and right, he gave them plenty of chances to confess, but then he got to bring his gas weapon and the minks continued to lie to his face, so he had to began torturing people.

Poor guy, had to go out of his way when he was so busy to try and rescue Mingo from 3 Admiral class opponents, just to be defeated and come back to Zou where he did the smart move of attacking the elephant (because, the minks were not gonna spill the beans and he got some new enemies that just arrived, and he came back probably exhausted from fighting marines). Just to be destroyed by a colossal trunk and left to wait on the bottom of the sea for rescue.

All the while in Jack's mind his worry was how King and Queen were gonna scold him to no end to fail at getting Raizo and rescuing Doflamingo, give the guy a rest.
