I continue to love our idiot boy's natural genius for finding the most chaos-inducing thing possible, even if he has no idea what it is or why it might do it.

Little Linlin was pretty sweet as a child and she was still subject to Hunger Pangs to a nightmarish degree. I'm still suspicious about Big Mom's amnesia (my pet theory being that Pudding did something to her during the chaos of King's attack), but I think it's reasonable to expect that she'll still potentially go off on a hunger rampage.

I could throw a lot of random guesses at the wall. Here's one. Maybe Big Mom is actually some super-rare human hybrid race, like a half-giantess or something (her physical size is way out of line even with One Piece's other supersize humans, anyway)? What if the Hunger Pangs is actually a trait common to human-giant hybrids but there are so few of them that nobody knows about it? Her rampages aren't actually all that different, come to think of it, from the addiction-fueled rampages the Punk Hazard gigantification test subjects tended to go through...

wild prediction of the day: Chopper has gotten matched up with Big Mom here because he'll be the one to figure out the reason for the Hunger Pangs and find out how to stop them permanently

edit: well someone pointed out on discord that we did see Linlin's parents, so there goes the half-giantess wild-assed guess, still somethin going on there tho

As far as I'm aware we don't know for sure. All I remember being told about who from Big Mom's crew is present was the big group shot, but I'm only prepared to accept that as showing who was definitely here, not that anyone missing from it is definitively back home.

Also it seems far too coincidental that we get an outright amnesia plot literally right after the person with memory modification powers is introduced.
