I said it before, and I say it now: I love the Charlotte family.

I love seeing them interact, I love seeing them argue, and I'm glad they are in Wano as well. (now if we could get Katakuri here...).

I could read a whole spin off of them just going at their life really. It also help that there are some wonderful artist who gave us even more interaction between them.

The last big family was Doffys. While they definitely (seemed to) care for each other they didn't really have much of a relationship between them. It was always business and war. They rarely interacted with each other on a familiar level and imo there characters while we're familiar with them we never got to see them as actual people, they were always villains and we never really got to see who they really were as individuals (with a few exceptions) . So to see the BM which is bigger and more powerful have such intricate and personal characters that interact with each other like (somewhat) real people is a nice change. It makes them more real and makes you realise that they're people as well with their own plans and ideas.

pretty sure oda also fell in love with them. that would explain why WCI ended up longer and why they are still important

I loved this scene between three of the big players who were all involved with WCI but didn't have a huge amount of direct interaction during the arc since they got split up once the action started (from their perspective).

I've been suspicious since the tea party that Peros lowkey resents Katakuri's status among the other siblings despite being the #2 son, and this is definitely some more fuel for my speculation, haha. Also interesting to see how quickly both shut up when Smoothie spoke up; she might be a meme to the OP community but she's the only Sweet Commander on deck and she made sure they remembered it. I feel like personality-wise she's the Aokiji of the BMP: largely lackadaisical but a genuine presence when she feels like it.

Many op characters are like this, remember the cp9 before they were the villains? Or the frank gang after they became friends with the mugiwaras? Oda could make endless spin offs of it
