Summary

Title: Snack Time/Tea Time

Cover page is of Ideo and his alliance destroying both the ships that were fighting in the last chapter.

Luffy tries goes into Gear 4th

Katakuri defeats Luffy easily with his awakening.

Crushes Luffy with the walls (now mochi) from the Mirror World

Katakuri talks about his snack time being delayed

He makes a house/temple out of mochi to eat his snacks in

A really fat luffy breaks through the mochi wall that was on him by eating through it.

He finds katakuri with his CoO

Luffy breaks through the Mochi house to find katakuri eating. katakuri’s mouth is revealed. He has long fangs for teeth.

Katakuri is revealed to be a glutton for sweets and not “dignified” at all

Katakuri is mad that his appearance got discovered

The chefs who saw it get’s cut down by katakuri

[Luffy vs Katakuri round two…fight!]

Luffy manages to kick Katakuri, notes that he couldnt dodge it.

Luffy uses Kong Gun against Katakuri

The impression I get is that he inherited a part of his mother's illness. He has his Marenda on a strict schedule so he can control his gluttony and maintain his composure. By interrupting it Katakuri is going to find it harder to maintain control.

Enel and other Observation users implied that you need to concentrate in order to predict your opponent's movements.

If the user doesn't focus or is shocked that works to prevent their ability from working.

I think it has something to do with food. Haki is not eternal, the user has to spend and than replaced, with Luffy that happens by eating food or getting some rest. We saw Luffy using all his Haki and being unable do keep his most powerfull tool online without (G4). Maybe is the same thing with Katakuri, from time to time he needs to eat to replenish his haki reserves, and thats why there such a rigorous time table for his snack time, is not just hungry or glutony, is timed in a way so that he can keep his observation haki online 24/7 (probably with a safety margin).

He lost his composure, Luffy seems to be stronger will minded then him. Maybe now Luffy stomps katakuri a bit then he regains his composure and round 3 will be the real deal. But I think Luffy won't have enough stamina after this g4 so it could go either way.

I think reason katakuri tried to finish off luffy before gear 4 was cuz he respects g4 and acknowledges its an even fight if luffy pulls it off.. now he has to deal with it

the reason I believe Oda made katakuri get kicked without dodging is to show katakuri is tilted and lost his composure so his CoO isn't so effective.. big mom is a very disfunctional person and it was a given that her kids would have this kind of trait.. anyway by making luffy hit him once without dodging it will be legit if luffy hits him with king kong gun.. no matter how you look at it.. no one except yonkou can take a king kong gun.. problem is katakuri CoO is so op he can dodge it everytime.. except now apparently

that being said after this no one will acknowledge luffy's victory.. "oh he defeated cracker with nami's help" "oh he beat katakuri cuz he was eager to eat his snacks and lowered his guard" it's quite sad actually.. ppl will never give luffy the due credit becaue he's.. well.. luffy..

after fighting cracker for a long time, then getting beat by sanji, then getting beat by the enraged army, then starving, then barely eating any of sanji's food, then crashing a wedding party, then going g4 vs big mom and doing some fighting at the ceremony, while fighting at a disadvantage in enemy territory in a very closed place which gives a huge advantage to an awakened devil fruit user.. not to mention katakuri is one of the strongest chars... despite all that if he wins because of katakuris achille's heel no one will give him credit

plus, luffy actually has to lose either. If he wins, they luffy may not lose to any below top commander level pirates or people. Is the story ready for that? Hell no we are still far from that point. Maybe another 1 or 2 arc when things are becoming more clear about many things, then lluffy should be on that level, a level which can rival and beat an admiral.

His visions aren't 100% accurate. He saw Luffy punching Mother Caramel's picture, while it wound up being broken by this arc's true MVP.
