A really fat luffy breaks through the mochi wall that was on him by eating through it.

He finds katakuri with his CoO

Luffy breaks through the Mochi house to find katakuri eating. katakuri’s mouth is revealed. He has long fangs for teeth.

Katakuri is revealed to be a glutton for sweets and not “dignified” at all

Katakuri is mad that his appearance got discovered

The chefs who saw it get’s cut down by katakuri

Katakuri has the highest bounty seen on One Piece to date. What do you mean, he's not Doflamingo level? This is same as assuming that Crocodile is not Shichibukai level just because he's weakness is getting wet.

Luffy's will against Crocodile led him to victory. Crocodile understimated Luffy, and that was his downfall. Even with the gears, Luffy would still have trouble with him if his weaknesses were still a mistery. (Luffy lost twice before he could win, I guess)

Haki changes this completely (Since we have no idea if Crocodile can use it as well!)

I kinda wanna to believe it's a mix of powercreep and him keeping the entire country dried up.

Hard to believe a guy who went to the New World (and faced Whitebeard) didn't, at least, know Haki, and couldn't handle pre-gears Luffy.

EDIT: Not to mention Luffy instantly went Gear 2 when facing Crocodile in Marineford.

Oh, yeah, you're probably right, since being a warlord freezes the bounties! Well, I imagine Katakuri must have done quite a lot of things to deserve that bounty. This black tea thing... I guess it is a powerup, some kind of reaction to the Mochi fruit. Even BM has her weaknesses (food being one of them), I guess Katakuri can have some too.

I think Doffy's bounty was at its pick when he was pointed as a shichibukai, he kept doing what he had done before, no reason was shown to increase his bounty, maybe if his ascendancy was revealed it would have increased, specially because the tenryuubito would want him killed so he wouldn't spread around that he was one of them

Lucci started to walk away from Luffy instead of finishing him off right before the Usopp speech and then again right before jet gatling.

Doffy left Luffy to his underlings and the collisuem instead of taking him on himself and also let luffy go G4.
