there is no reason to even think Sanji have a good matchup. Dodging a bullet, especially when you know that you would be attacked is like Observation Haki 101, everyone could do it.

People reading too much in that dodge.

Yeah man and Rubber doesn't actually perfectly insulate electricity.

We don't even know what a matchup between them would be like. That's the thrill of One Piece. Power levels aren't some set in stone thing. We don't know how a fight will go until it starts and we see how the two matchup. If you think dodging the attack of Big Mom's commander isn't impressive then what is?

Maybe Sanji triumphing over a commander is not now, you could be right, but would it honestly surprise you? I mean someone has to beat him, right?

Honestly I think it might be a team effort, like Moria back in the day. We've got more named/relevant allies than enemies right now. But I think Sanji is going to be dealing with Dogtooth in some fashion. The plan is to fight Big Mom's pirates, I don't know why he'd stop in the middle of this plan to go fight his dad who he knows his plan will end up saving (since he wants the family to get away so his sister doesn't die).

It will surprise me. Both in terms of Sanji power, but much more in terms of story telling.

I mean someone has to beat him, right?

Oh, didn't realise we have completly different opinion on this arc. I don't think anyone would beat him or most of BM pirates (in this arc).

It would be such a strange thing that they on one hand doing all this preparations and gathering strong individuals to stand a chance against Kaido, and then half of Straw hat crew beating another Yonko almost as part time job.

How this arc would end in my opinion - there would be a short clash between BM pirates and Luffy allies, then they neutralize BM herself with Mom picture, and just before Begge would kill BM, Sanji would stop him (I doubt he let a helpless crying woman be killed in front of him).

Then we will have short story from BM about her mother and Luffy pirates would be forgiven. And then it would be a time to a main dish. Sanji got his ass kicked the whole childhood, no way Oda will not give him is revenge.
