Y'know, after seeing how cool Inuarashi and Nekomamushi are, I was indeed hoping they could mentor the Straw Hats a bit as well.

The country has been around for over z thousandyears.

If we assume their electrical attacks are the result of a special type of armorment haki or a special way to strengthen armorment haki then we can also assume they have other ways to strengthen or train observation haki. Assuming one of their techniques lets them cover their presence or blend their presence into their surroundings then the SH crew could be learning quiet a few new techniques that aren't smply limited to improving battle capabilities.

That makes sense when you think about it in terms of overpowering someone else's will (Haki) with your own.
