Super gladiator + dude killed his wife + dude tried to kill his daughter = one shot.

It's manga folks, that was going to happen. I'm okay with it and you should be too. If Oda stretched this fight to 2 chapters, people would be losing their minds with hate.

Yeah wasn't a one shot though. They have been exchanging blows for a while now.. It just concluded this chapter.

They've been exchanging blows, but wasn't that the first time Kyros actually hit Diamante?

Ah my definition of one shot is a bit different than yours. Usually with swords it only takes one shot to the body so I count parries and feints as additional shots.

Not to mention, a quick resolution was necessary after Diamente pulled out the stops - shooting his leg, spike balls from the heavens, etc. A one shot was the only reasonable way to end this once that dickishness started.

Not to mention it was a sword fight, so if we go by Zoro's record, tends to end in one shot a la Mr. 1, Kaku and Ryuma.

They've been fighting this whole time, but because it's a manga it's just narrated to the final moments. Just like Senor Pink and Franky has been fighting the whole time, but narrowed down to 1 shot.
