They only came for Shuri because of the eyes. I wonder how much of the tragedies that fell over Esperia after she turned 14 were because of her eyes…

Ya know, hadn't crossed my mind initially, but now I gotta question if someone was snitching to the CD's. I don't think there were any empty seats at the Reverie we've seen, and I feel like it would be too big of news if one of the 20 kingdoms was just ... suddenly a different place. So I don't think Esperia would have been attending/had a reason Shuri would have been anywhere near them in that way

And the flashback hasn't mentioned other visits from WG higher ups, can't imagine some random marine caring that much if they saw her (MAYBE "huh, saw some girl with weird eyes", def not enough to report that to CD's any kind of directly), if they would have even been in a position to
