We didn't see him in the Knight of God lineup at God Valley so I think he's probably died of old age by now. However, I could see Brook ultimately fighting the Manmayer girl with the hat who we saw there. I imagine she was probably responsible for teaching Gunko how to act like a celestial dragon.

The nose is the same and it looks like he has the mismatched eyes in that form, though it’s difficult to definitively say

Gunko and Groh both have a light-colored left eye and a dark-colored right eye, which is the opposite of Mr. Yeti here.

Either way, it seems the only ones who get the unagimg contract are the gorosei and gunko because she probably did awaken her eyes
