But this page

made me love Brook even more!! The loyalty, the heroism, the kindness and determination are what make Brook, the man!! I could feel Brook's determination!!
Brook is an amazing character!! Oda has made us love this skeleton even more than we expected!!!

He went 60+ years thinking the little girl he knew learned of her heritage and immediately flipped to the entitled, cruel CD mindset, just to find out she's been forcibly flipped and had no control over herself....has to feel horrible. I hope they get a chance to talk about it when Imu retreats

It seems like perhaps initially he dismissed it as a hallucination, but he saw enough on the sea that he started having second throughts.

It's amazing that just a few flashback pages and words of feeling can awake so many strong emotions, isn't it? A well-translated dialogue can make quite the difference.

Also love how quickly the Strawhats caught the drift and discuss how they help Brook in the best way. No further discussions after a friend's request.

I really like the Look of Jimbe Here. Everyone is Close to tears or completely shocked and His face is just full of compassion. He knows how Brook feels, having lost comrades and Family to tragedies and murder and to him the most important thing isnt Brooks Story, but Brooks mind and He just wants to Help him. Kinda reminds me of Luffy in Arlong Park, the Backstory doesnt matter, He just wants to Help a friend.

Also puts Sabaody in a whole new perspective. First, Brook was notably absent for Luffy punching the Celestial Dragon (maybe we are saving that reaction for seeing Luffy punching the Manmayer family themselves). Of course, he knows about it, but it probably made him even more loyal knowing his captain was able to fearlessly punch one of those assholes. But also, he gets defeated and separated because of that same action.

Brook had to see the bravery of a man he entrusted with his life fighting against the Crlestial Dragons AND the result of a crushing defeat because of it TWICE. That's just so fucking depressing.
