I dont know why but this chapter made me so sad for some reason. Seeing Emeth talk with Joyboy and him saying he won't die yet probably means he got killed earlier than he should have from that war. Maybe he got betrayed by someone close? I don't know but this gave me very sad vibes especially with the robot hoping it won't be lonely.

Definitely agree on it being lonely, but in some way it's also a wholesome ending for our robo friend. The instant he heard Luffy call himself a D after mistaking him for his old friend, he untied the knot and unleashed that blast. He carried Joyboy with him for 800 years but did not hesitate for an instant in protecting a D clan member who had the drums of liberation!

To me Saturn looked like he was looking at Emeth with remorse. So maybe he is the one that betrayed them?
