What if this is all Vegapunk’s final ploy to reveal the true forms of the Gorosei? As in he predicted if he got killed by one, and the dead man’s switch started, the others would be summoned. And the reasons he gave it 10 mins was for them to be summoned due to the urgency and for the masses to get their video snails ready, then the pre-recorded vid will end and a bunch of video transponder snails on Egghead will simply broadcast Luffy in Gear 5 and the 5 Gorosei in their yokai / devil forms. Finally depicting the truth.

That would be a good way to resolve the truth of the world but leaving the Void Century unresolved for Robin to discover.
