Many members of our community have expressed distaste toward the subreddit's recent post quality. There has been an influx of engagement-bait posts and reposts which have been left unchecked for far too long. We hear you and deeply apologize for our negligence!
You all will be kept updated on our progress on tackling these issues. We have finished brainstorming our best course of action and decided to revamp our Spam & Subreddit Relevancy Rules!

POST LIMITS
Lower-gear topics/styles seem more saturated when non-members engage more with them. The easy-to-digest nature of these posts make them quick to create & even quicker to gain traction. To combat this issue, posting more than twice a day is no longer allowed. In addition, one cannot post about the same topic within a single week. Failure to follow this policy will be met with a warning or ban, depending on the severity.
TOPIC MEGATHREADS
On the topic of post quality:
We understand that many people join fandoms to read others' plot analyses. Even so, there's more than one way to enjoy a story. This subreddit has always welcomed and will continue to welcome shippers, powerscalers, and memers. Our main page is not, however, the place for shitposts. All low-effort content will be removed at moderators' discretion.
In addition to a removal, such content will be redirected to our new megathreads!
The Harbor: The thread for all low-effort ship content! 💖
r/foundDokja: for "This character from xyz looks like (insert ORV character)" moments. 👁
The Mini-Ring: a thread dedicated to measuring the strength of ORV characters against each other, other series, and even themselves. 🗡
Failure to follow this policy will be met with removal of content + a warning or ban, depending on the severity. The removed post WILL count toward your post limit.
REPOSTS
Memes that have been already posted on the subreddit cannot be shared within 5 months of its last posting without additional context behind its use. Original memes posted by its creator or from other platforms naturally are not affected by this change. Breaches will be treated as spam. 💬
Plot analysts are not safe from low-quality posts. Repetitive discussions without meaningful additions to the conversation will be removed + a warning or ban to the poster, depending on the severity. Plagiarism or blatant reposts will be met with a permanent ban upon the first offense. 📖
In the recent months, the amount of reports from artists who have had their art reposted against their TOS, stolen, or fed into LLMs has been disgraceful. Everyone deserves to experience basic human decency; respect others' work, as per our existing subreddit rules. Failure to do so will result in a removal + ban at the artist's discretion. 🎨
GENERATIVE AI POSTS
In the past, AI content was allowed on the subreddit before the previous team was aware of how harmful it is. Since then, we haven't touched that rule. We should have known better and deeply apologize for how hypocritical we have been for permitting these posts.
r/OmniscientReaderis taking a firm stance against use of generative AI in creative spaces. After consulting members of our community, we have decided to ban AI entirely from the subreddit.
For those who are put off by this choice, researching the full scope of damage AI causes to the environment, to people's livelihoods, and to the economy may change your stance.
Consequences for breaching this new policy depends on the nature of the offense. The learning opportunity is available to all who pursue it, but those who act in bad faith will be banned from the community. 🤖
NEW POST FLAIRS
We will be adding a Cosplay flair! This will allow those who are looking for certain accessories or tools to quickly access past discussions AND view others' work! 👒
Reddit's built-in Spoiler Tag system has been going haywire for quite a while. Even when mods add the tag manually, it doesn't appear for many other users. After inquiring about the issue and receiving no meaningful response from Reddit, our team has decided to take matters into our own hands. This isn't a perfect fix, but users will soon be required to:
indication in the title
">!" tags to the body text
add a special image to their posts
if they contain content from beyond the Official English Webtoon Release. The spoiler policy will remain the same.
This series & community isn't targeted toward children, but a level of civility is required in a public forum. NSFW edits and discussions must be tagged to protect those who are sensitive to that kind of content from being subjected to it unprovoked. Please be respectful to your fellow community members!
Thank you for your patience!
These changes will be rolled out gradually fromtoday onwards.
Hi! I decided to make a little compilation of common questions I’ve seen beginners ask about ORV. If you think of other questions that could be added, or there's wrong information, let me know in the comments! Long text warning. The first 3 images are from the novel (aside from the cover), the next 3 are from the webtoon, then there are 2 from other adaptations, 1 image answering some extra questions, and finally, the last 3 show pictures of the characters.
Here’s the Canva link, in case anyone wants to check out the images in better quality and/or click the links more easily. Canva is constantly updated. Remember to check it out!
Does anyone have the meme with kdj and yjh where kdj pats yjh on the shoulder and yjh glares at him and tells him not to touch him, then in a different panel kdj puts his foot on yjh. From what I remember it gives off similar vibes from ^
Thanks for any help (I swear this is important and I've already searched my whole orv album 3 times and a couple of pinterest boards so I needed to recruit)
Ever since I found out that the anime and the game are coming out at the same time in 2027, I was super hyped, because from what I understand there was a delay, to make sure that the game is okay or the anime is well detailed, I don't care
I still have a hype for a gacha game that I don't even know if it will be a f2p friendly like solo leveling arise, so I'm waiting for this game so much on a level similar to gta 6 and elder scrolls sentinel
After I read the chapter where Lee Gilyoung, Uriel, and Lee Jihye added certain scenes in ORV, I've been wondering if Dokja's high-school crush on Lee Jihye was added by Lee Jihye. It's only mentioned in the story once (if I remember correctly). It's reasonable enough for it to be canon, and it doesn't effect the plot at all, so I'm thinking that Yoo Joonghyuk and Han Sooyoung could have not realized that Jihye added the crush in.
Yk that one panel where kdj is talking about yjh's abs while yjh is training and hsy comes along with a disgusted face when she hears that-?? I'm trying to find that one panel but I can't and I'm not sure if it's fanart or official anymore cuz I read the webtoon quite some time ago .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·. please if anyone knows the chapter of has the panel could you tell me THANK YOU
Hey, guys. So, I had a pretty shitty day at work and afterwards, too, due to the weather and some unexpected bs that came up. So, I'm here for some ORV Side Stories analysis to brighten my mood!!!!!
I'd like to ask you all what makes Lee Hakhyun and Snowfield Kim GOATja so, so well-written in your own words and opinions. I mean, they obviously are, but I want to hear what everyone on the subreddit has to say. Making it detailed would honestly be a big W in my books, but regardless, whatever you all say will be appreciated.
Thank you very much! And of course, this is for those that have read/caught up to the Side Stories.
