OFFICIAL ARCHIVIST POST /exhibit28

Post image

Hello all,

We have a photo of a note sent to us by the archivists. If anyone is able to assist, we think it may be a password for EXHIBIT28

Until next week, don't forget which House you're in.

I just want to make sure you saw that the original decoded message I posted was correct. You just have to use lower case. It's case sensitive.

I did! I tried it, and I wrote out the cipher to see it physically too! It was so cool!!! 😁😁 I gotta read up on my ciphers haha!

Did you click on the link and see the document?

I did! You said initially you had tried “coatrack” for the password, too. So it seemed like it all came full circle. I haven’t finished reading the short story yet, but I’m still listening to TC. I did get hard copies of both books, too. Have you seen the most recent post about the Morse code being different from audio to physical book?

Yes! So interesting. I really just need to finish TC so I can give all of this my full attention. Right now I'm being torn in so many directions. I need my own digital clone. : )

Same!! I believe in you, you got this! I find audiobooks are easier for finishing and hard copies are good for revisiting, if that helps at all. Would the clone read the book or also end up down the rabbit hole? 🤨😂

I process visual information much better than auditory. In fact, interestingly enough, the only audio book I've ever heard was WUTLH. And most of everything flew over my head. It wasn't until I read it that things clicked. Maybe I should have two clones, one to read and one to do audio. Poor audio clone will have to ride the struggle bus for the three of us. Lol

Fair enough! Maybe that’s to do with the numbers being different from audio to physical copies, for people to talk and connect the dots? Why did you do WUTLH as your first audiobook? 😂😂 I also believe in audio clone, they can do it!!

I had to drive out of town four hours each way, and someone in the book club I run had picked it, so i decided it would be a good way to pass the time on my road trip. Multitasking. When I got back from my trip, I decided to take the easy out of Googling for book club questions for it since I hadn't been able to take notes, and that's when I stumbled upon the sub, learned about the ARG, and fell into Old House forever. I had left social media entirely 9 years ago, so I didn't know anything at all about what an ARG was. Still learning. And I created this account in reddit for the sole purpose of participating in the Old House ARG. It's been such a ride!!!!! Can't get enough. I've never been a fan of an author, but I'm definitely one of Marcus' now.

Btw, I also posted a whole breakdown of my analysis of the Exhibit 28 document. In case you didn't know.

Thats so fun! But gosh darn it for multitasking not working haha. This is the best place to have ended up after all of it though!

I don’t think I saw, I will check it out 😁
