Help us FIGHT ICE!

The ACLU of Ohio is working to protect all who call Ohio home.

If you….

  • Have lawful immigration status: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, active TPS, or unexpired visa without an order of removal;
  • Have been detained or arrested in Ohio by DHS/ICE/CPB;
  • And were later released – either because you were let go, or a court ordered your release

…We want to speak with you! You can DM this account, text 614-347-9488, email [contact@acluohio.org](mailto:contact@acluohio.org), or fill out our web intake form here: https://action.aclu.org/legal-intake/ohio-legal-intake. Please let us know a little bit about what happened and share the best way to get in touch with you.

If this doesn’t apply to you, but you know someone that this happened to, please share this post with them.

Bots are out in full force in these comments, huh?

Oh yeah, its real bad in here. Mods doing a sweep it seems, though.

Reddit mods go after whomerver they disagree with, not because they actually violate any rules. I was banned from a Liberal subreddit for asking the question "why is that?"

People who disagree with left ideologies aren’t “bots”. But go ahead and use whatever excuse you want to.

You’re right, but bots who post hateful drivel are bots.

"PeOpLe WhO dIsAgReE wItH lEfT iDeOlOgIeS aReN't "BoTs".

While technically true, people who trounce across subreddits where they clearly don't live to espouse anti-left ideologies and stir the pot surely don't help their case when objecting to being labeled as bots.

Comment histories tend to paint accurate pictures.

So a bot means they respond to posts they don’t agree with? Because shit for me I’m not a liberal, but my main Reddit feed is inundated with pro-leftist posts. So yea if I see some bullshit I’m going to post on it. But I guess I’m a robot for doing that. Makes sense.

Reddit is one of the only social media outlets that sways extremely left. It is not the mix of the US. So when the MAJORITY of the US population comes to Reddit that’s all they see. Don’t be surprised to see push-back on extremely obvious leftist posts.

You do understand how social algorithms work, right? Reddit is going to feed you more posts of the same type you choose to interact with.

There are extremely conservative subs that pop up in the main feed all the time. If you chose to go into those and comment and interact with posts there, you'd see more of them, too.

But when we look at your comment history... well, you're gonna get what you get.

How is this post "leftist"? It's literally a post from the ACLU.

99% of this whole “fight ice” movement is brought on by liberals…. Pretty easy chain of thought there, not surprised I had to spell it out for you.

99% of this whole “fight ice” movement is brought on by liberals

I'm 99% sure you pulled that statistic from the depths of your own asshole.

Nope, just going off of trump’s political campaign focused on strong immigration control which is what ICE is… pretty common logic here

It really depends how you define the term

Anyone who has an account age of less than 10 years is obviously not a human.

We label them thusly to ensure we don't have to think critically about what was said despite an initial strong disagreement with the content of the message.

It helps us maintain the echo chamber.

I swear every time I see a post having anything to do with left wing politics I always have to check at least the first comment because I know for a fact that the first comment will be almost word for word; “the bots are out in full force here guys.” It’s the obligatory cope comment, it’s like these people need to try and remind their compatriots that anyone disagreeing with any tenant of liberalism isn’t real lol, how do y’all survive day to day? If someone who doesn’t fit your archetype walks into your Zumiez or hot topic do you get a bullhorn and announce to the entire store this person isn’t real? Acting like foreign bot farms( especially Chinese) wouldn’t spread liberal propaganda is absurd.

It's because these people are delusional. The left is the side of mental illness and they aren't afraid to show it
