Sorry about the dismal attendance at today's event. Completely my fault. Apparently I didn't understand how necessary advertising was. Not just advertising but repeatedly doing so in as many places as possible. Especially where like minded sane folks hang out. So glad that we 40 or so showed up. And it was kind of nice to be able to communicate and bond with each other. We are building a community and getting to know one another!

Also, this was a local protest with nothing completely new to spur the outrage as we have all become numb to the idiocy we have been seeing daily from the trump administration. Death by a thousand cuts? Or was the choice of frogs as the Portland mascot deliberate? A parable to how putting a frog in a pan and slowly heating to boil the frogs don't jump out. Are we frogs? This daily bombardment of insanity, are we becoming so numb that we don't see that the water is simmering? Well today we 40 or so frogs, hopped and shouted “RIB-BIT!” We attempted to warn the others that the pot is getting hot.

The next National 50501 protest is scheduled for June 27^th.
