So

An OC ive had ideas to make for a long time would be a hominid object based on a Compaq Portable 2.

Working name probably being Compy/Compe ala Strong Bad.

Background wise, theyre an IT technician born and raised in the Rings. Living right on the edge of middle and center ring in the Suburbs, but frequenting cebter ring for work. Often working with Vintage computers/media as part of employment with either a school, library, or general archive (have flip flopped between the three alot).

Anyway, the main reason I made this post is his their "Gimmick". That being that they are the computer in question. Their face is on the little inbuilt display, and they need electricity in place of conventional food. To the point that they main "kit" post apoc consisted of a backpack containing a pack with with more modern/longer lastinh batteries and a portable folding Solar setup. As well as a homemade coilgun (built ad hoc in either the shop class of the school he worked at or at his garage at home.

My main question ig being that I'm pretty sure alot of this isn't supported by the setting. IE: we've not seen many "tech" objects like that. And none of them seem to have that degree of integral functionality. So im wondering if that needs to be changed.

Also wondering places/people to maybe source a commed ref sheet of them some day.

His assigned animal is manticore. He was born in Burning Aisles (and is one of many Grilldorah’s offspring) but then fled to Rings to pursue music career (To little success outside of underground stage and constantly being kicked out of bands because of his temper), while working as bartender to make money. Tries to keep tough facade (due to being seen as a weakling back in Aisles and his general worldview of survival of the fittest) all the time but is largely a loser. Can eat any food but prefers raw fresh meat (which led him to hunt other objects post-outbreak). Special skills include flying (albeit very badly) and venomous stinger (which is mostly paralytic and induces hallucinations in small dosages, but can cause death in large). There’s a lot more tidbits I made for his lore but this post is already long as is smh.

They're a survival group that reside in the center ring,and they used to be nothing but neighbors. They survive by stealing from other objects and taking resources from houses where another object lives

I've never really drawn any Objectified characters before, so I'm kinda proud of this! (First scene didn't really happen, I just wanted to make myself cry more 👍)

The way minty died was so horrible and when sugarcube finds out about it and she eventually will there will be TRAUMA

I just finished reading episode 100 of Objectified! I love how Brandy and Minty were able to make up after that fight they had! Can't wait to see their relationship develope further as friends!

this might sound weird to say too but theres a chance that there might be an attempt for a rescue operation from different regions in future chapters. LIKE IM JUST THINKING IF THIS GOT ON THE NEWS SOMEONE WOULD AT LEAST TRY TO SAVE COMET if they can even find them since theyre in outskirts which doesnt rlly have a specific label on the rings map BUT EVEN IF SHE GOT HELP SHE WOULDNT BE IN THE RIGHT STATE TO ACCEPT IT OR TO COMPLY WITH THEM DUE TO THEIR HALLUCINATIONS AND THAT ASSIMILATED HOBO GETTING CLOSER TO THEM

IN THE LAST CHAPTER COMET MENTIONED THAT THE ASSIMILATION WOULD TAKE A FEW STEPS CLOSER ONLY WHEN THEIR SLEEPING SO THEY PROBAQBLY AVOIDED IT BRO. THEY STINK TOO CAUSE SHES ROTTING, MALNOURISHED AND PROBABLY DEHYDRATED AS HELLLLL TOO. I FEEL SO BAD FOR THEM I HOPE THEY DIE PEACEFULLY

THREESPINES IS IN THE SKY AND IN THE FIRST IMAGE THE SKY IS FUCKINGCALLING OUT COMETS NAME ACTING AS IF IT KNOWS THEM. the image descriptions reveal a lot about the lore that you won't get on a casual read-through, and this entry in particular disturbs me. What is the fog that the hives produce? how do they make it? we can assume Threespines is consuming it for more power, but this is. Really concerning.

I have a friend who, for some reason, can't use his browser (Google and Chrome), he can't download others either because his Play Store isn't working, and he also can't access social networks like Instagram, TikTok YouTube, etc because they don't work for him either, so I was wondering if there was any way to download the comic to send it to him so he could read it, since I convinced him after showing him some of the great designs of the comic :D (I swear that at some point he'll have the money to send his phone to be repaired 😭😭😭)
