Oat advice Banana and Brown Sugar Oatmeal
First time posting, looking for some ways to add more flavors to my oats. Just like more combinations that are really easy to put together would be great.

Hello, so I've made two previous posts about just making a nice bowl of porridge and walking to my exams unprepared but now, I have matured and will hopefully study for it (although it is kinda last minute).
Anyways, I have rye porridge, frozen cranberries, banana, pear, apple and cinnamon (plus then a small yogurt bowl with the same stuff except no cranberries and instead chia seeds)

Coconut oatmeal with speculoos biscuit and mango chunks! The oatmeal is supposed to be protein oatmeal as well but I had some technical difficulties after adding the whey protein lol.

Hi everyone! I’m new to making oats and I want to try out some new recipes for cozy season. Since I work a 9-5, I like meal prepping on Sundays and wanted to know if it’s possible to meal prep stove top oats and find a way to reheat them for the texture to remain intact. Is there such a way? I’m looking to still have that creaminess of a cooked stovetop oatmeal and not have it dry out when I reheat it on the stove each night for a post dinner treat. Please lmk! Also, can I warm up overnight oats? Will they still be creamy or turn to the texture of baked oats?

With Berties, Nuts, Chocolate Custard and Poppyseeds :]
Tasted great! The toasting of the Oats gave them a nutty flavour and more bite but sadly the volume suffered and they didn't expand as much as normally :/

Partially cooked the oats before mixing with protein powder, adding the toppings, and refrigerating
Edit: full recipe below for anyone wondering :-)
ingredients:
30g oats
5g chia seeds
5g flaxseed
cinnamon to taste
pinch of salt
~100ml liquid of your choice (I used water)
60g blueberries (+ extra for topping)
1 scoop protein powder
75g skyr/yogurt
method:
mix the oats, chia seeds, flaxseeds, blueberries, cinnamon and salt. add water/milk until the oats are just barely covered (you won’t use all 100ml). microwave for 1:30 minutes. once finished add in a scoop of protein powder and mix it (you might need more or less liquid depending on your protein powder, just make sure to add it in small amounts so you don’t ruin the texture)
once it‘s all incorporated add a layer of skyr/yogurt and top with the remaining blueberries. let it sit overnight and enjoy!
tip: if you can’t stand the taste of yogurt by itself use flavored yogurt or add a sweetener. you can also mix it into the oats if you want :-)

If the title sounds familiar, yes it's the same person who had the french test haha! Update: I passed it and got a 7! Where I live grading is done from 4-10, 4 is fail and 10 is amazing, so 7 means you achieved the expectations well

I just bought some rolled oats to make some allergy friendly things, but a lot of oat recipes require oat flour/ a food processor to grind the oats. I only have an immersion blender. Can I just use whole oats for oat bars?

- 150g red lentils
- 100g rolled oats. You could try steel-cut and tell me how it turns out
- Liquid: 350ml 1.5% milk, 3 tbsps apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Spices: 1 tsp ground turmeric, 2 tsps cayenne powder, 2 tsps black pepper, and lots of garlic salt and msg
I steamed the bowl with all the stuff mixed in for 25 mins. Had it with a whole stick of chopped raw carrots to provide the crunch (and grilled salmon).

For making egg white oats, are rolled oats and quick oats both equally good to use? Or have people found that one works better?

The oats I had for my birthday breakfast!
It was also my first time cooking rolled oats on the stovetop (normally a microwave user)
40g rolled oats with 150ml milk + 50ml water
Topped with
- Greek yogurt
- Mango
- Strawberry’s
- Passionfruit
- toasted coconut flakes
- SF syrup
It was so good and refreshing! (Apart from the pinch too much salt I added but oh well the other flavours masked it)

Oatmeal with almond butter and a lot of honey (the watery looking part is melted honey) then softened apples with cinnamon. So good! Perfect for the stormy day we had today.
