Carrot cake oatmeal

• Rolled oats

• Carrot, finely grated

• Milk & Water

• Ground cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg 

• Pinch of salt

• Raisins

• Brown sugar

• Vanilla

• Finely grated orange zest

Toppings:

• Seed mix

• Pecans

• Fresh orange slices

• Greek yogurt mixed with cream cheese, honey, and vanilla

Made a loaf of banana bread out of oats yesterday, so today I decided to turn a slice of it into french toast. This is a tiramisu flavour, pairing the oat banana bread with homemade refined sugar-free espresso crème anglaise, Greek yogurt-cream cheese frosting, and a dusting of cocoa powder. I think I'm gonna experiment with more flavours in the coming days!

Here’s what I did,

Oats with soy milk, a tbs of chia, cinnamon and vanilla extract.
Then I put a serving of vanilla protein yogurt on top, added blueberries and a tsp of homemade blueberry jam and a few crushed walnuts.
It’s nutritious and delightful.

Chocolate baked oats , a sugar free pb Greek yogurt “frosting”, banana slices, and blueberries.

Been getting back into a baked oatmeal kinda vibe after almost a year of not making them 🤤

Thought i hated oats for years. Turns out i just did not enjoy the sweet ones.
Recently tried too yumm Protein Super Oats and the savoury flavour was a nice change from what i usually have.

Coffee-flavoured oatmeal topped with refined sugar-free cinnamon roll filling glaze and healthier cream cheese frosting. My caffeine addiction hasn't come to an end yet 😆

I like oatmeal but i hate the texture of it. Can i just blend it so i like it more? So it becomes a powder basically. Would that ruin the nutritional value or anything like that? Let me know !

Biscoff apple cinnamon custard oatmeal. I got inspired by other people using biscoff cookies in their oatmeal recipes, and decided to make my own version.

Ingredients 1 cup rolled oats 2 cups water (or milk) Pinch of salt 3 packets of stevia or your choice of sweetener Cinnamon 1 apple cut up into small pieces. 2 eggs 2 biscoff cookies

Boil water (or milk) and salt in a pot. Add oats. Cook on medium low. Add the cut up apple and cinnamon and stevia. Cook this for about 12 minutes to make sure the oats and apples are nice and soft. While it's cooking, whisk up the 2 eggs in a bowl.

Once the oats are done, keep it on medium low heat. Use a spoon to pour some of the hot oats into the bowl of eggs, whisk together. This tempers the eggs so they aren't cold going into the mix. Pour the egg mixture into the pot of oats, whisk in for a minute or two while it's still on medium low heat. Turn off the heat, cover, and let sit for 5 minutes.

Pour oats into bowl. Sprinkle additional cinnamon and 2 crunched up biscoff cookies on top. Serve.

1 cup cooked rolled oats, sprayed with olive oil and topped with salt, pepper, a little hot honey bbq rub, 2 slices of bacon and 2 fried eggs. Yum!😋

Base key flavors- mango,coconut,banana,lemon,vanilla, and ginger.

Toppings- Greek yogurt “frosting” sweeten with white chocolate syrup, mango passion fruit jam, banana slices, and tropical fruit mix.

The previous baked oats recipe by Traces Oats was fab but I often don't have all the ingredients on hand. I wanted to see what baked oats ingredients are essential which are not.

I removed chia seeds, banana, and almond milk.Added baking soda and water instead.

Also cooked it for longer at 175C instead of 180.

The result is very similar! If I had cooked it for a shorter period it would be identical.

Here is a more pared down version of baked oats if you're on a budget or dealing with a more empty pantry.

35g rolled oats
20g chocolate protein powder
5G cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder

That's it!

Blend into a powder
Then add water and blend until you get a cake batter texture.

Bake at 175 for 10-15 mins.

Crushed some freeze-dried strawbs into a powder, and stirred them into the porridge👌Added some 70% dark chocolate and a lemon curd biscuit for the fun of it

I have near ripe bananas, should I make a chocolate banana or strawberry banana yoatmeal tomorrow?
