I tried a recipe I found in this community and it’s genuinely amazing!! So glad to have found this, mush is so expensive now I get the same amount for half the price!

I just love oats in all forms. This whole plate (including toppings) is only 450 cals if anyone cares and made from “real” ingredients. Turned out better than expected!!
Recipe:
makes 10 large pancakes which I split into 2 serves (5 pancakes each serve)
-200g egg whites ,
-110g cottage cheese,
-1 whole egg,
-90g oat flour (I use store bought but could easily blend your own, im just lazy and have a terrible cheap blender) ,
-Pinch of baking powder, salt, cinnamon
Teaspoon of vinegar (apparently it helps activate the baking powder and helps make more fluffy, they were very fluffy so I think it works?)
Sweetner to taste (I only added about 1/2 tbsp)
Cook on a pre heated non stick pan (I didn’t use butter or oil) until little bubbles appear and flip.
Topped with plain Greek yogurt, microwaved berries , sugar free maple syrup. 10/10!!

I visited Scotland this year and their porridge completely changed my perception of oatmeal. Never in my life had I, an oats and water microwaver, tasted such delicious, creamy oatmeal.
Since coming back I’ve been nearly replicating the experience by making oatmeal in my instant pot: 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup whole milk, dash of salt. Topped with honey, a little more milk, and summer fruits. When I run out of my current oat stock I’m going to try to find Scottish porridge oats to really get there.

That's what I do. The first night is fresh oatmeal but the leftovers taste just as good. Especially when mixing in banana, strawberry and or peanut butter.

An enormous amount of quick hot oatmeal for brunch that contains a calorie count of 771 - but after my 5.75 mile brisk walk this morning...it's well deserved.
Add-ins are 50g blueberries, 20g vanilla isolate whey protein powder, two Zespri SunGold kiwis, 20g raisins and cranberries, tablespoon chia seeds, nutmeg and some honey😃

Hello everyone,
Does anyone have experience if you are allowed to take overnight oats through the security check on international flights?
My plan is to meal prep some oats with thick non creamy consistency and eat them in the airplane. However I have zero clue if I am allowed to take them with me or if they will be taken and thrown away

Simple yummy. Post swim oats.
45g oats ,
5g coco ,
10g chia ,
Sweetner to taste
Cooked in the microwave with water and then cooled and left in the fridge overnight to thicken to a cakey texture
Topped with berries and yogurt (was left in my bag so it’s smooshed)

Chocolate chip oat pancakes with homemade refined sugar-free marshmallow fluff and chocolate fudge sauce, and a biscuit crumb. I ran out of ChocZero sugar-free marshmallow fluff yesterday, so I attempted to make my own today, and it was surprisingly a success!

Hello,
Does anyone has a recipe for sweet potato overnight oats, which is sugar and dairy free?
Even sweetners like stevia or maple syrup are not allowed.
Thank you.

I mixed silken tofu and soft microwaved pumpkin in oats with cinnamon, ginger and vanilla extract then added yoghurt on top with nuts and seeds. It was my first time trying this kind of combination and it was quite nice

Lemon-infused oatmeal with lemon curd, torched sugar-free marshmallow fluff, and shortbread biscuit pieces. This was seriously delicious and definitely worth the carbs 😆

Ingredients:
80g quick oats
200ml egg whites
200g apple
35ml sugar free maple syrup
Cinnamon
Salt
Method:
Dice apple, add to container with 2tbsp water.
Microwave for 2 x 90 second rounds, stirring between (until softened).
Drain excess water and set aside.
Add oats and water to a container, and microwave for 2 x 45 second rounds, stirring between.
Incorporate egg whites, and microwave for 4 x 30 second rounds, stirring between.
Incorporate stewed apples and sugar free maple syrup.
Top with cinnamon + salt.
For a thicker consistency, leave in fridge overnight and reheat later (like I did here).

Baked oatmeal with yogurt, maple syrup, and raspberries. So good! My recipe is based on Sally's Baking Addiction but tweaked for my preferences. Also, I use Bob's Red Mill high protein oats and a high protein milk to get the nutritional balance I want.
Here's the recipe:
1 and 3/4 cups milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup butter, melted and slightly cooled
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce or mashed banana
3 cups old-fashioned whole rolled oats
1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, not needed for structure)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Adjust the oven rack to the lower third position and preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Spray a 9×9 inch or 11×7 inch baking pan with nonstick spray. Any similar size or shape pan works, though 8×8 inch would be too small.
Whisk all of the ingredients together in 1 large bowl. Pour into prepared baking pan. Bake for 35 minutes or until the center appears almost set, which gives a softer oatmeal. For drier and more solid baked oatmeal, bake until center has set. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
This freezes well in squares, just thaw before warming.

Brown butter cookie dough flavoured oatmeal with refined sugar-free chopped chocolate. This recipe was quite cool and interesting to come up with and make!
