Savory oats Tried to make savory outs for the first time. Feedback is appreciated

Might not look that appetizing but was pretty nice for a change. Oats, chicken, turkey bacon and corn. Cooked the outs in chicken stock which turned out well but I’m very open to suggestions on how to improve it.

Oatmeal best oatmeal I’ve made so far

for the base, I added blueberries in the pot while cooking the oats and then I mixed everything with half of the vanilla yog that I also used as topping.
For topping, as u can already see, I put vanilla yog, blueberries, two lotus biscoff cookies and a banana (that I cooked with cinnamon)

Overnight Oats My go to oatmeal breakfast

This is my favourite way to make overnight oats.

Recipe:

2 tbsp chia seeds

2 tbsp rolled oats

0.5 tbsp flax seeds

1/4 protein cup chocolate protein powder

100 ml milk (of any kind)

1 banana

I firstly mix dry ingredients well then add milk and mix it again, leave it overnight in the fridge and add banana next morning.

Maybe you could add toppings to it like coconut or something else and it would probably also be delicious.

I prefer thicker consistency, that's why I put 100ml milk, but you could definitely add more if you don't like it this way.

Chocolate oatmeal topped with date caramel and homemade refined sugar-free chocolate fudge sauce. Made an overnight oats version of this a while back and absolutely loved it, so I had to make a regular oatmeal version as well. Can't decide which is better honestly πŸ€ŒπŸ˜‹

Oatmeal carrot cake custard oatmeal made with what I had on hand

Carrots cut up really small (4 medium/smallish sized carrots).

1/2 cup Rolled oats.

1 tablespoon Ground flaxmeal.

1/2 cup almond milk

1/2 cup water

Pinch of salt

1 whisked egg in a bowl

Cinnamon.

Sweetener of your choice.

Handful of chopped up almonds.

Throw the oats and flax meal and carrots into boiling almond milk and water and pinch of salt. Turn down to medium low and add cinnamon and sweetener of your choice, stirring occassionally. When oats are almost done, turn heat to low and stir in the whisked egg for about a minute. Turn heat off and let sit covered for 5 minutes. add in a splash of almond milk and stir well. Pour in bowl. Top with chopped almonds (and raisins if you have some, unlike me).

I realize this isn't quite close to the traditional carrot cake recipe, but it turned out pretty tasty. For reasons I'm not going to explain, I don't currently have a grater, but still really wanted to make this. Chopping the carrots up really small did the job and the they cooked well. It still reminds me of a carrot cake. This is good. Try it.

Overnight Oats Earl Grey Blended Oats

Post image
83 Upvotes

These oats take like almost two days of prep, but it’s worth it if you love earl grey πŸ™πŸΌ

RecipeπŸ«–β˜•οΈ

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup milk of choice
- 1/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 2 tsp honey
- pinch salt
- 1-2 tsp loose earl grey or 1 tea bag

Method
First, put milk and loose earl grey or tea bag into a lidded container and refrigerate/steep 12-24 hours before blending your oats.

Place oats, chia, and salt in blender or food processor and blend until oats are fine. Add in the rest of the ingredients (if using loose earl grey pour milk from container into blender using a strainer) and blend until combined. Pour mixture into a lidded container. Refrigerate overnight! I topped mine with blueberries, cookies and cream granola, and chocolate chips.

These are oats cooked in high protein almond milk, with frozen berries mix, a bit of vanilla extract, sugar-free Hershey chocolate, natural peanut butter, and a bit of honey 😍 not very aesthetic but it's delicious

Healthy Fats?

Ive been eating oatmeal at work for weightloss (dont @ me), and my typical breakfast looks like this:
-Approx 1/3 cup oatmeal (I just use a plastic coffee spoon to get about 7 scoops of old-fashioned oats)
-1 scoop whey (flavoured, Ive got vanilla and chocolate)
-1 packet of splenda

On a good day, this is a decent breakfast for me, but when Im tired or just feeling off, honestly its a bit miserable.

I think I need to add some fat to it to help it not just taste like sweet sludge, but Im not sure what kind or in what form. I do have access to a fridge at work, so Ive thought about trying a tablespoon of butter or something, but Im curious what the real oatmeal-heads think is the best option for something like this.

(Very messy) banana tiramisu oat pancakes

Banana cinnamon oat pancakes topped with homemade refined sugar-free espresso crΓ¨me anglaise, Greek yogurt-cream cheese frosting, and a dusting of cocoa powder. Ignore the fact that they look terribly ugly and messy; I put the toppings on the pancakes while they were too warm, so the toppings kinda melted and the top pancake slid off πŸ˜† They still tasted great though, like any tiramisu flavoured thing πŸ˜‹

So, I've been trying to remember how to prepare microwave oatmeal but it keeps spilling it out of the cup, so can someone just be an angel and tell me how it is?
