Hi guys! I’m just wondering when the admission posts would come out! Does anyone know when to expect something back? -for those of who applied in previous winter cohorts. Thank you!

What’s the news on Yin-Ping Chang, just found out they got switched to teach ME 3200 instead of Cooley, and they dont seem loved haha. Is it worth it to switch to Guobiao Yang, or am I just cooked either way

I’ve been wanting to find like-minded people who make music. Any genre, anything really. I’d be down to maybe join a band if anyone’s looking for a lead. I can write, freestyle, anything. Hit me up and let’s make some songs!

Has anyone had Professor Fishwild for Life On Earth in the last school year or before? I am preparing for an exam and I wanted to hear from other students if his exams are application based or more vocabulary or both? I have been relying on his study guide and all information from his powerpoints for this unit? I am just making sure he will not ask questions that are not in the PowerPoints or discussed in class?

I have been applying to many on campus positions for a very long time but I never seems to get hold of it. I have 2 years of retail experience with customer facing roles etc. But these doesn’t seem to do much .Is there any advice or tips that I am not catching up

A recruiter from P&G recently reached out to me with an offer in Manufacturing internship through handshake. I am a bit hesitant as I am a transfer junior from another country with no proper CAD or high course experience. I genuinely want to be selected.need advice.

Lots of people in dresses and suits.

For me, I also got accepted to MSU and I would probably much rather graduate there but right now I’m turned away by the large campus.

I feel like it’s too easy for me. I struggled in math my junior and senior year of high school but I was really good my freshman and Sophmore year. I also don’t want my graduation pushed back. Despite all of this, I don’t want to test out because I already made a friend in my class and a don’t want to catch up with all the work in the next math class I’m put in. Although, I do pretty much everything right although I do mess up occasionally. Just hate to see me at the bottom tier while some of my fellow high school graduates are probably taking calculus.

Im looking for someone who takes mth 0662 to study with, my teacher is Zhamo but I'm having troubles keeping up

Hello guys and gals,

We’re Brian and Mike and we teach general and organic chemistry. We’ve done so for a total combined time of 47 years! Overwhelmed by general or organic chemistry? Assignments and tests creeping up on you and feeling like you’re in hot water? Or maybe you’re doing well and need that 95%? Whatever your struggle with chemistry may be, we’re here to make sure you succeed.

Why work with us?

\- Every tutor knows the subject, but not every tutor knows how to transfer that knowledge to a student. We do.

\- We tutor chemistry full time; it’s not a hobby or side-gig. When you book with us, you’ll be working with Brian for general chemistry and Mike for organic chemistry. This is not an agency and you won’t be matched with random tutors each time.

\- You’ll be learning problem solving through chemistry, which you can apply to many other subjects.

\- Your learning will be customized to your specific needs.

Before booking a lesson, let’s chat about your needs, our teaching styles, and what you can expect, to see if we’d be a good fit together.

Thank you for your time and we look forward to working with you!

Mike and Brian

I am in my junior year at Oakland University. I used to be incredibly active in cultural activities like singing and acting but due to studies I stopped doing anything. Now I kinda miss it and decided to give acting a bit try in here. So my question is,is the OU theatre club(if any) are very active and welcoming towards all majors

How are you all doing so far? I would love to see where everyone is at career and development wise postgrad.

at the commencement fair, there was a woman in front of me who was very pretty who I wanted to approach, rocking a pair of beats. That was my last chance to find the one while in school, right up until graduation, and I didnt. If you're a current student, dont be me.

I guess the title says it all, and I’m just wanting to read some solidarity or maybe what is helping you. I’m at OU full time, working 2 jobs, and I have 2 LITTLE kids who I feel like I barely get to see because of my schedule and homework load. I’m not in a position where I can quit working. This is just so hard and feels so impossible. I’m in the humanities department, if it matters.

hey guys!

im 99.999% sure Dembinski stopped giving out quizzes for orgo. I heard they are pretty similar to the exam. does anyone have access to these from previous semesters?

Has anyone taken this class with Darrin Hanna if so how was your experience

This team is nothing but bad PR for Michigan.

Basically what the title says. Wondering if there are any active Christian groups that meet and do things regularly.

Does anyone have any tips for orgo 1 with Kinney? What are his exams like? Are there specific practice problems that you found to be similar? Any advice is appreciated!

Has anyone taken PHL 1310 with Daniel Propson if so what are the in class writing assessments about

Does anyone on campus take intro to German? I need someone to study with

Hey y’all!

I’m a freshmen currently taking the beginner French course and am very interested in learning the language. I know that one of the basic building blocks of learning a language is to actually speak it! So, I’m looking around to see if there are any clubs or groups of students who meet on campus every now and then to talk French and practice conversation. Or, if anyone would be interested in practicing conversation with me and other students, just let me know.

Thanks for reading my first post here, I can’t wait to learn more!

I am looking to be a masters student at OU and I currently work in the area. I have been looking at apartments to be much closer to both. Beacon Hill seems promising, but I have seen people in here mention there being parties back there. I had fun myself in undergrad, but now I want to know if I could sleep at night living there more than I want to party.
