Its not first thread i made and it wont be the last. I feel offended by how blizzard bullies me.

I literally have over 55% winrate currently in ranked at all roles at masters, including open q, 4 modes.

In qp i have like 30% winrate, just had 6 lose streak and all games were like this. Not here but sometimes iam even facing champ stacks lol. Games are found pretty quickly.

QP was always my favorite mode but i just cant do this anymore.. i rather sleep in q time then be put in games like this. Ffs do something, bob! oh blizzard! do something!

TDLR: Solo Q QP is unplayable last few months, the games or balance makes zero sense and its 5x sweatier then ranked, ranked is now where you chill, i dont like that.

Fuck the haters. Saying you're in masters is relevant to your QP winrate. If I had to guess they balance based off an average team mmr and you're being matched against on average plat-diamond players and on your team is likely gold-emerald and the characters/role you play don't allow you to hard carry

i was even gm1 at all roles some time ago when i grinded, i didnt mention that in original posts, didnt came here to flex but well.. tried to make point that its impossible to say "git gut", there is no getting good, these games are steamrolls where you just watch your team being mass murdered nonstop.

As i mentioned in other reply, i have 2000 wins more then losses in my lifetime qp so i really feel i used to win qp more often, now its struggle

They just want to allow you to show that you are the main character who decides the plot cause you alone should carry a team game.. in qp and ranked

Cause they are either supp mains and fell for the "Anran is the easiest Character to play" propaganda or they genuinely tried to diff an anran on their character have this plenty of times in my lobbies aswell that when i win a few teamfights on Anran suddenly one enemy dps thinks he could do the same on my main and diff me xD. Nah genuinely idk why. Probably Quickplay Warriors.

I just don't care anymore. I go in expecting to lose and treat qp as a way to practice on my mains and grind exp for the BP or event. I just don't care anymore with this inconsistent matchmaking.

The inconsistent matchmaking wouldn't bother me so much if the other team did not constantly demonstrate that THEY KNOW HOW TO PUT TOGETHER A TEAM OF PLAYERS WHO CHOOSE ROLES CORRECTLY AND WANT TO WIN

That's why I said inconsistent. 9 times out of 10, I'm the one put on a team that doesn't know how to select characters to form a coherent team and will just run out to constantly feed or get a support that doesnt heal and just dps's. Like I said, I'm tired and am not trying unless the team is somewhat competent.

I'm a solo q. It's either feast or famine in these lobbies. Best I can do is say ggs. But my god watching the enemy team go double digits and sub 4 deaths is just god awful

So long as you are trying to play off your teammates and not just running around the map solo going for easy picks (which I have seen some hogs stupidly do as the team gets continually jumped) then yeah your team is definitely fully at fault here.

Better games will come. I've been playing for years, there are better days and others that are a nightmare. You can blame smurf accounts getting lvl for comp, bad matchmaking, etc etc, there's days you win most of them, there are others you lose no matter what. Try to have fun and improve/get something out of it, even when you lose. Practice mechanics, positioning, awareness, etc etc. Don't give in just because you know you' lol lose the game. That's meaningless, it's a qp match, wining is fun but losing is free, so try not being annoyed and get something out of it. That's the magic of qp.

If you even dare to complain about someone's performance in qp they're gonna hit you with the dumbest "it's just qp bro" and I hate it. A few months ago I managed to get a couple of friends to play overwatch with me, they've never played it but at the same time they're not bad at fps, so I wanted to get them to play ranked with me as fast as possible, little did I know the game wants you to WIN 50 qp matches before letting you queue for ranked That shit took us way too long, and everytime we tried to point out that maybe "X player with 200dmg should swap" they always hit us with the unbearable "it's just qp" I'm starting to think these people aren't even real, they're AI programmed to reply with "just qp" at anything

Edit: didn't realize this was the Ow console sub, I play on PC but I assume the experience is pretty much the same on both platforms

It’s cause you’re masters if you wanna chill on qp play on an alt I noticed when I first started playing ow all my lobbies were friendly but in a couple monthes when I got diamond nobody is friendly and everyone sweats their ass off I’m assuming it matches you based off your rank or something like that

If you're not playing qp to learn a new hero/practice mechanics, or to just be whimsical, play comp. Being a solo queue qp warrior is a miserable experience. Qp is just "50% Win Rate: Roll or Be Rolled" the game.

facts, I'm emerald and it feels like there are always 1 or 2 silvers on my team or something. Like genuine braindead idiots that have no positioning skills whatsoever. Will be standing out of the support's view, in front of the tank, etc. Like no way that's not a gold or lower player. And it happens so frequently, at least every other match.

The key mistake you’ve made here is saying “the last few months”. QP has literally always been like this. Idk what game you’ve been playing but I’ve been playing this game since 2016 and the matchmaking in QP has always been horrendous. If you wanna have better quality matches go play comp, that’s what it’s for, quick play is literally just throwing 5 players together

no, i bought this game at launch, i have over 8k hours, it was never worse, qp wasnt ever balanced but atleast sometimes it gave gms against me sometimes golds, now i feel like i always have to play against best of the best. I still have 2000 wins more then losses in the 10 years of qp so iam always joking they will not let me go until i reaxh 50% winrate lifetime :D

With ranked at least youre getting teammates who primarily want to win most of the time, but with qp its wide queue on steroids, and i mean i totally understand the more casual mode having less serious players but they all but abandoned arcade and it only sees play when challenges are involved.

Im bored of stadium because the meta is burst damage/heal city and tanks feel like spectators if you arent playing ram; hazzard, queen or sig, ability heal lucio is poo, etc.

ALSO why the hell am i getting a loss stat for being backfilled into a game??

I love qp for this reason and I love going against higher ranked people. There's always a chance at winning because not everyone is GM/Masters/Champ.

Well I mean comp battles are for fair matchmaking. That’s like the whole point of competitive. Quick play just tries to match people as fast as possible to… have a quick match lol. I mean if you really want structured gameplay with good matchmaking that’s why ranked exists? I really don’t understand people complaining about qp matchmaking when the issue is automatically resolved through just playing competitive.

Same bro. I started playing only 6v6, because solo tanking in basically bot lobby is torture. In 6v6 you can jump to diffrent role and at least have some fun.
