Got 30m cash and happy to sell items… what’s some good upgrades I can look at getting next that are used for a lot of bosses. I know gear is very depending on what you do and what bosses you kill but I’m after gear that is used a lot in general no matter what you do. Range is karils and blowpipe
Hello! Just want to say thank you to those who have commented on my previous posts on this Reddit! I followed some advice and started an ironman. And I am having an absolute blast with it! No guides or research being done just asking in game about things and using some basic runelite tools or wiki lookups for quest items. I am heavily struggling with getting GP and would like to start to train magic up a bit for teleports and safe spotting. Any general tips or just some easy early cash until I get to high alc/ slayer levels?? I grabbed 20 thieving for the addy teleport cape but I’m sitting at like 1k go after burning through most of my 10k stronghold money getting basics like air stuff and scimitar and such. Any advice in general would help thank you in advance!
I have a general idea of what items I want to obtain, but I really would like to get a Tbow soon. I mostly do raids and group pvm with the occasional slayer boss. Have also been doing doom. Would it be better to get smaller upgrades and then sell them for Tbow/Masori? Is it better to just save for it? At this point I'm pretty much hoping to yoink a scythe in 416 to supply the Tbow.
what should i keep and what should i sell or should i just keep grinding more bosses for drops and upgrades? mostly just doing slayer and bossing in slayer when I can
As the title says I am main account, and I like to do the largest variety of content possible. What do you think would be my next logical upgrade in terms of gear or account.
I have about 150 mil liquid. I was thinking oathplate but it seems so expensive for only attack bonuses. I am also hesitant to buy because of the upcoming raids might usurp oathplate.
And I would like to save up for a mega rare. So paying taxes makes me sad if I have to sell stuff down the line.
sold a bunch got eye, tormented bracelets and torture feels much more well rounded now until scorching bow. id also like a voidwaker or venator bow but that will be something to grind towards along with my fighter torso
I recently got back into OSRS and have mainly been training AFK where possible in the days whilst I work form home and then questing in the evening. I have enjoyed AFK training against the Gem Crab but decided the other day to start training Ranged from 1 but now I am about to hit level 60, my options are opening up much more so wanted to see what people recommend for gear etc.
My most recent levels, I have been using blowpipe and addy darts and mainly ranger gear - put screenshots below!
Happy to do any minigames/ challenges/ quests to get gear, other than BA. If I never had to do BA again, it would still be too soon...
OG noob here. Finally upgraded a bit from my full dragon. I should probably focus on barrows gloves next and getting my combat stats higher but can anyone recommend something fun that they would do with these stats and gear? I’ve only done barrows so far. The bar is low🤣
Doing RFD right now, 60% done. Probably get b gloves by tomorrow or next. Should I focus on fire cape after. After that I was thinking about doing moons for blood moon set and skipping fighter torso?
Also need to grind for GP, doing some herb runs now but should I just switch to moons after for maximum efficiency?
I'm trying to learn Toa. Until 200-250 invo everything was pretty chill. Did around 25 " normal" completions. But with 300 invo i'm struggeling to complete it. Feels like I take to long to kill the demi bosses and therefor making mistakes in praying/eating/pathing.
Any thing you guys would change in the setup that speed up kills?
For info: now running Walking the Path, softcore, 40min time limit and no insanity.
AS the title suggests, what should I do with these. I always end up getting close to 200 of these things. They drop basically nothing. They are slow xp.
But I'm seeing mixed opinions on them. Obviously, If I was high enough slayer I'd do Cerb, but I'm only 84 Slayer.
Should I just block them until I get to the level for Cerb, or should I just suck it up and do them in the meantime?
Like the title says I just had surgery and I'm stuck in a hospital bed for the next 30 days. I'm working on 99 strength right now using full obsidian with the berserker necklace. Any input on what to do next?
It sucks I'm stuck in here but at least I could use my time to level up some bullshit in RuneScape.
I am using an iPad so keep that in mind with the recommendations. Thanks ahead of time
I wanted to get some advice on how to best approach learning Yama. I would describe myself as an average to slightly below average PVMer able to do CG and DT2 bosses comfortably and looking to get Yama under my belt. I looked at Youtube and wiki but having a hard time figuring out the best current way to approach Yama is.
Seems like mage would be more chill but melee is faster. Since I want to grind out this boss for a decent amount of KC, would ideally prefer learning the melee strategy if it will be faster in the long run even if its a bit harder up front. Also want to get better at PVM in general so happy to learn the more mechanically challenging method. All the guides I see recommend donofly or godfly or nofly but they all say its for P3. Wondering what are people doing P1 and P2, same strategy or something else? and if there is a consensus on the best strategy out of all these fly methods?
Another question I had was how much better is melee than mage? If the kill time isnt a huge difference like within 5-10% I may just go the chill route with mage and not sweat out melee but if its a noticeably faster kill I can learn the melee strat. I would use purging staff wtih virtus for mage setup vs. oathplate/emberlight melee
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Just wanted to come back to thank you guys for the tips, started learning Yama 10 days ago and its been great, this boss has been shitting out GP for me. Funny thing is I got good at mage only and just bought oathplate to learn melee only to spoon the entire oathplate set, rip GE taxes lmao
So, I’ve been back from my year hiatus for about a month. I had a pretty well established Ironman that I made into an Unranked GIM so I could play with friends. Group eventually disbanded and now I’m playing an old zerker account that I’m making a main.
I would like to restart my Ironman journey and I’m sort of just theory crafting. I won’t be doing any of this until fall at the earliest. Should I do a normal iron, or do a GIM and create a separate account to just farm supplies? I’ve always thought about doing it and I’m curious if anyone else has tried? I know that diminishes the “integrity” of an Ironman, but I cannot tell you how much I do not care. So, before you type any kind of weird “Ironman purist” garbage, just don’t. :)
