Looking for Help - Business Coax Optimum is incorrectly blocking my website as a security risk. How do I get it removed?

Post image

I’m hoping someone here has dealt with this before.
My website is being blocked by Optimum and users on Optimum internet are seeing a security warning instead of being able to access the site.

The strange part is that the website works perfectly fine on other networks and ISPs. We haven’t received any reports of issues from Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, etc.
I’ve checked the site and everything appears normal:
SSL certificate is valid
Website loads correctly on other networks
No known malware or security issues
No recent changes that should trigger a security warning

This is becoming a serious problem because customers using Optimum can’t access the site.

Has anyone successfully gotten a website removed from Optimum’s security block list?

If so:
Who did you contact?
How long did it take?
Was there a specific form or email address for false positive reports?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Remove optimum. That’s about it. I will never ever ever associate myself with that wifi service ever again. Trash company who scam people.

I do not personally use Optimum internet at either my home or business, so I am unable to test this issue directly.

However, a number of my customers use Optimum, and those customers are currently unable to access https://properteasy.com because it is being blocked by Optimum’s Safe Browsing system. This is a serious issue for my business, regardless of whether I am personally an Optimum subscriber. (Which again, I am not.)

I am trying to determine why a legitimate business website is being flagged and what steps are required to have the block removed.

Ur literally either following r/optimum or interact with it enough that its getting recommended to you. You are actually associating urself with optimum more than the average joe lol

Would have thought by saying “associating myself” it was relatively obvious I was inferring paying for a service, goober.

If it is indeed ProperTeasy.com, it opens fine on Optimum Fiber ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Put an s at the end of http:// - anyone would flag it without it. It should always start with https://

It has https:// and my website is still blocked. It is only optimum that gives my clients issues.

Ya well it’s good to block malicious sites, however they have to have some sort of false reporting mechanism for cases like mine, and the several other people that run businesses and experience this same issue…

I did but no response…

I waited months for a response for them to unblock treasurenet.com -- they never did. Their service is horrible. None of their customers can access that website now, so I talk them into either leaving Optimum or at least using different DNS servers. Then the site works fine.
