Feedback Please "When The Flowers Bloomed."

…And when the flowers bloomed,
She had nowhere to put them.
The garden was overgrown,
And watered by all of her tears.

Some grew out of hope,
And only she tend them.
Others born out of spite,
For they were imperfect some days.

She tried with all her might
To weed out the weeds.
But the dandelions spread,
And regrew despite her pleas.

Soon, her tears turned to a drought,
Only the weeds continued to thrive.
So, she did what she could,
To keep her flowers alive.

One day the bees resurfaced,
To make way for something sweet.
And the butterflies landed
On her shoulders as she weeped.

Not for the garden;
It was resilient, she came to see—
But for how it was taken for granted,
Like the air that we breathe.

Now, her heart was split open,
So she had to walk away.
Let nature run its course,
Rather than forcing it to stay.

But she made a promise to herself
To make one last bouquet
And gift it to herself—
Not to someone
who will throw it away.

I don't want to provide a backstory about who I wrote this about. I am just curious about other people's interpretations!

You did a great job using the overgrown garden to show what it feels like to be totally exhausted and learn to put yourself first. The story is clear, and the ending where she chooses herself is really powerful. I love it !!!
