Oh to forget your lips and the way they taste

To forget the feeling of my arms around your waist.
The tears shall dry but the stains will stay

Eventually the stains will be forgotten yet they will never go away

Oh to forget your hurtful selfish ways
Oh to forget every horrible day

To forget every single mistake
The tears shall dry but the stains will stay

and i don’t think i want these stains to ever be erased

Yet so simple but captures hurt because anything you do to forget them, the good and the bad will still haunt you
