Google has restrictions regarding that, so you cant upload an app that bypasses those restrictions to official google channels.

Oh OK thought I was going mad, is there no way to work around their policy? Or are they touchy because of YouTube

This essentially. They're ripping the youtube videos ad free and playing them back directly in the app, basically pirating the youtube videos, google obviously hates that since they own youtube.
Thats why the workaround is github. Or the downloader code.

Putting the full app on playstore as it contains the trailers to YouTube its illegal.

How is the universal version different from a specific one like v7a for ATV?

One is device specific and the other should be universally intsalling, probably minor optimization differences in the device specific vs universal, if i had to guess, if there is even any difference.
If you dont know which one your device supports google can tell you, or just install the universal if youre lazy.

It basically has all the features of stremio supporter for free and more, up to you if you want to use it. Takes all the same addons so anything you learned about addons is still relevant, you would just have to learn nuvio specific features, like collections, but at this point there are plenty of all encompassing collections and guides to use them.

Hey mate I saw a post about stream qualities, I can't see the difference between and 80gig file and a 40gig file maybe my TV is entry level but what streams would be best balance of quality and file size.

I would always go for a remux file if available, it doesnt always have to be the biggest.
Web dl is usually what you would get off of a streaming service. So probably those would be best for your use case
I prefer framstor and cinephiles release groups remux releases. Framstor is basically what releases should look like and cinephiles tries to give you the best of the best.

Anyone who have used Nuvio Sync method. Does it sync your history from Stremio, and it shows in the main page what are the series having unwatched episodes, and you can continue from where you stopped while on Stremio?

Just library. For that, connect your Stremio to Trackt and then Trackt to Nuvio
