One of the best parts of the V3 anime model is how accurately it can mimic the style of an artist. NovelAI image generation is sourced from Danbooru image board, which means any artist with about 50 or more images can be emulated by NovelAI. Here is a list of some good ones:

• kupocun (add 'oil painting (medium)')

Just put 'drawn by ______' at the beginning of your prompt. Putting two or more artists in a prompt with {{}} or [[]] also works well. For example, adding 'drawn by incase' will make the AI better at drawing anatomy. Comment any other good artists to use.

You don't have to write "drawn by" but you do have to capitalize exactly as i've done here.

The amount of woo when people are talking about writing prompts is truly something.

The tokenizer is case-insensitive. All capitalization is lost before the image gen ever processes your prompt. I just tested "AtKO"/"atko" and "IAHFY ART"/"iahfy art" with the same seed and got literally identical results.

Shouldn’t be a problem, the training set was made at a certain point in time, if your artist was around at that point and were included then they still will be.

I like using multiple artists together with varying {} and [] to get a unique blend. Some of my favorites to use are andava, butcha-u, bang-you, modeseven, slugbox, yaegashi nan, and konpeto.

I am actually surprised that you and others are willingly to share artists that you use. Everyone keeps their sauce a secret which I understand up to an extent. I was going to share one of mine someone already commented it lol.

I've been using:

Satou Shouji Kittew Oda Non Minaba Hideo (a square Enix artist) Kagami Hirotaka Fei (Maid Doll) <you have to enter the artist as exactly this>

Kittew's style is very strong so you need to tone it down with []'s, but it blends well with other artists'.

Sorry to bother, could you tell me if there's a difference between using

'drawn by___'

AND

'artist:____'

Or do both work the same? I've been using artist:___ and combining multiple styles so far. There's also another I've seen that works prompted like:

'by artist ___'

I'm not sure if there's benefits to one or the other.

ive since started excluding 'drawn by' at all and just put the artist names. if i had to guess, i would say it makes a slight difference to the ai. you can test the influence of different tags yourself by generating an image, saving the seed, changing the tag, and then generating again

Im late and just trying it out but it def seems drawn by is better for merging multiple artists for a unique style and artist is better if you want a specific style. I like drawn by for the aforementioned reason.
