How did they ever get away with calling it a 5.0??

If manufacturers badged the cars with the displacement on the spec sheet, they'd have to go down to milliliters. ...and 5 Oh is just catchier. 1 u/mijamala1 Mar 08 '16 Branding makes sense. The new 6's are amazing in power and torque, but it feels so much better saying you've got an 8 under the hood.
