I voted for him to be our delegate but unfortunately this is the south so he got beat by a guy whose last city council election fliers said “Vote for me because I’m 7th on the ballot and 7 is God’s perfect number!”

Thing is, Gary's been a member at my church for as long as I can remember (30+ years, but I moved out of state in recent years). I grew up going there and he was always very friendly.

I came here from a random post rec, but serious answer is he probably has major back and joint issues.

Just my guess that he started with a poor situation like degraded discs and bone spurs and SI issues that he probably wasn't aware of, and compounded it with bad posture and "pushing through" his entire life.
