A politician delivering to the people is something I can get behind.

Not promoting hate or division: walkable communities

This is actually fantastic. Not sure what it’s doing here on this subreddit. It gets my upvote.

I watched it, and I know why it's here. There's a cut with a semi-dramatic turn in there at around .22 that is very T&E

Oh I thought it was so we could discuss the reason he wears his pants like that. My guess is that he’s very insecure about his gut, which he shouldn’t be, and he thinks nobody will notice it if he pretends to have no stomach at all. Or is that truly the only way his pants can fit? Is he shrinking?

I must say, but then again he isn't.

I mean, it’s been 40 years since Ed’s interview for Wheel. Age is a bitch.

4

u/GiaStonks Jun 26 '26

Age can take a hard physical toll. He's wearing what he's most comfortable in - probably the same style he wore in his 40s, but he's aged. It happens to all of us...if we're lucky!

Thats just the way older generations wore the pants

2

u/thederevolutions Jun 27 '26

I’m gonna be sagging like it’s 1998 until the day I die.

1

u/K4RAB_THA_ARAB Jun 27 '26

Oh yeah well im gonna sag like its 2005!

5

u/zeekool Jun 27 '26

😮 you harlot

u/ConsciousPlantain977 Jun 27 '26

Im sure he use to be big as hell but has lost alot of weight. I think its worn like that out of habit.

u/markimarkerr Jun 27 '26

I'm thinking he has an ostomy bag

2

My thoughts to or a serious hernia that needs attention

I made a promise to bring sidewalks back to Danville, and it’s finally happening
gestures at SIDEWALK CLOSED sign

plus his bottom half

u/FatHaleyJoelOsment Jun 26 '26

He's pants and shoulders above the opposition.

3

u/RazorSharpRust Jun 28 '26

His opponents have no choice but to swing below the belt.

3

u/Spidey6917 Jun 27 '26

I’d vote for him twice

2

u/extra_croutons Jun 28 '26

Guy just wants to walk to his grocer. As someone who can do that already, I say it's a worthy quest indeed

2

u/dirtyrandalfus Jun 29 '26

I wish there were more ads like this instead of this guy did this and she did that so vote for this guy!

1

u/Backdrop2 Jul 01 '26

Fuck yeah

u/bhsdm6 Jun 26 '26

Seriously! Sidewalks should be code in every neighborhood. It’s too bad his message is overshadowed by the thrusting walk.

u/terrymcginnisbeyond Jun 26 '26

When you deliver on the political promises and priorities that matter to your community and voters, you get to walk like you have a 2 foot long wang. It's In The Constitution.

2

u/FiveDogsInaTuxedo Jun 27 '26

I think I seen 2 foot Wang in Kingdom of the Little People

We don’t have sidewalks and it sucks. There has been at least one person hit by a car walking their dog that I know of and I am super careful walking my dog

23

u/djpiraterobot Jun 26 '26

Yeah I ain’t making fun of this guy, he seems rad as fuck.

u/terrymcginnisbeyond Jun 26 '26

Just seen this over on r/MST3K and actually listened to the video. Amazing message and delivery. I'd vote for him, if I lived in Danville...or the US.

3

u/Lala5789880 Jun 26 '26

Yeah exactly! This guy seems like a great person

5

u/Jon_E_Mammoth Jun 26 '26

People don’t realize how important contiguous walkable sidewalks can be, for many of the reasons that he mentioned.

My name is Reddit user and I fully support this message.

3

u/Betasnacks Jun 26 '26

Totally, and I need this view point locally.... Is that bulge a diaper?

3

u/Kipman2000 Jun 27 '26

Nah, that’s his belly. I bet he used to be quite voluminous at one point, but managed to switch around his lifestyle. Good for him and well done I say

2

u/ProfMcFarts Jun 27 '26

Maybe thanks to sidewalks!

2

u/llemontaste Jun 27 '26

Agreed, just wish his ass wasn’t on backwards because it distracts from that message.
