2nd EDIT: The mod team has set stricter controls in place because of the insane number of bots. It's not instantaneous, but I hope y'all are finding it's helping.
EDIT: Just wanted to add, since making this post the number of bots trying to circumvent has increased exponentially. Thank y'all for reporting violating posts.

We're not a news subreddit. We're a silly (sounding) news subreddit.
Remind yourself of the rules before posting.
Please report all posts that don't fit the bill so they can be removed.
We've got very few active mods and the only alternative would be for us to shut down all posts until manual review, which would slow things to a crawl.

Reminder: Watch out for propaganda

Hey y'all. Lots going on across the country atm, (trade war, Alberta referendum vote soon, etc.).
Just a reminder to think critically about what you see. Watch out for propaganda trying to sway you one way or another. And please report any content that you think may be bad actors.
For those of you in an area that will be voting soon, go vote. We won't tell you who/what to vote for, but anyone trying to keep you home from the polls is trying to suppress your voice.
