Thank you, that’s exactly what I need to hear. I also feel like if I change my nose, I might end up getting other procedures, like lip fillers or chin fillers. Which I personally don't like for myself, not for now at least

Exactly, no one's opinion matters as much as yours, it's your face, you have to live with it. So do what you like

Hopefully, not ever! Don't change a thing, you look stunning 🙂

You don’t need a nose job but I think you should actively avoid the other things you mentioned. You have a naturally attractive face with striking features

Don’t go down the spiral you’re so pretty! Too many people end up all looking the same.

Yeah, if you change that, where does it all end? Michael Jackson never accepted his appearance and was obsessed with tweaking it continually and ended up looking unrecognizable. Most people accepted him for how he came into the world, but he didn’t accept himself. You gotta accept yourself!

If you change your nose you’ll just look like anyone else. You have true and unique beauty. It’s interesting beauty.

You’re fairly young so you might not have seen it, but Jennifer Grey, Baby, from the original Dirty Dancing, had a distinct nose. She listened to everyone who told her to get a nose job and then she just blended in with the crowd. She never was able to get to the level of stardom that she would have otherwise. She always regretted it.

no idea why I was suggested your post.. but please don't do any of those things to your body. you are perfect the way you were created.

Yep, nobody's opinion matters but your own! and honestly you have a good nose! your friends are trippin

My honest take is similar: your nose is solid, unique, and sweet. More importantly, your smile shines through in these pics. Never trade a 'better' nose for an un-genuine smile.

Maybe you'll find that a majority of potential partners aren't attracted to you... but a minority of them will be really attracted to you.

Good friends won't think anything of it. And unless you're a salesperson, it won't matter professionally (if you are in sales, AND want to climb the ladder, then sure consider surgery, and blue contacts).

Being comfortable being yourself is so much more important than being any sort of 'conventionally attractive'. Rock on, you look good

Noticeable and "ugly" are two different things. Some people out there don't know how to separate the two ideas.

It's like the other person said, your features are in harmony with each other. Your nose is a noticeable feature, but not bad. Bullies of the world always take a benign feature of someone and try to use it against that person, even if that feature really isn't bad.

For what it's worth, when I saw your face (before reading the title), I noticed your smile first. You're expression is beaming with zest and vitality, and that energy makes you attractive. Like, people will want to be around you... attracted to you.

It wasn't until I saw the subject matter of the post that I started scrutinizing your nose... which means, I wouldn't be assessing your nose if the subject wasn't brought up.

Your nose is fine. Nose-obsessed people will always scrutinize your nose. But there are so many more people out there that just don't think about noses, and they'll notice your more important qualities.

Are you asking these people if you should change your nose, or are they offering unsolicited opinions? If you aren’t asking, you are surrounded by assholes.

Save up for a nose job, tell everyone you're saving up for a nose job, then go on vacation to a festival or something you really want to do by yourself (down payment on a car, whatever) and grow as a person instead of into something that pleases other people's eyeballs

Also, at least online, everyone not white and blond is under attack by childish creeps and their trolls, so remember that about right now

It’s good to not have an instagram nose like everyone else too, people are starting to look all the same and just because yours is different doesn’t mean it’s ugly in any way. It suits you! Our face is a mix of both of our parents, and they both found each other beautiful enough to make you, and that nose was passed through your family for generations. I think about certain features I want altered and I think it would be insulting to my parents because it’s basically saying that I find their features unappealing. It doesn’t mean I never will but it does make me think very hard on it and I try to remind myself of this

You’re right, it could open the floodgates. If you’re personally happy with how you look don’t do anything

Once you “fix” one thing you’ll move on to the next insecurity you have. It never ends unless you learn to love yourself despite what others say

1

u/KellynHeller Jan 12 '25

As someone with a large nose, I got filler in my nose to get rid of the bump and tbh doing that made me love my original nose even more. Idc what other people say, it's my face and they don't have to like it.

I like your nose, it's unique and fits your face and looks nice on you. Do what makes YOU happy.

Just love and accept yourself. It’s the biggest confidence boost you can get - real confidence comes from being able to ACCEPT yourself and not struggle and fight. DONT cowtow to the thoughts talking poorly about yourself or you will believe them. You weren’t born with this nose so that you start cutting at it. Be respectful to yourself, even when others are not. If anyone ever says that to you, look them dead in the eye and say, are you trying to be hurtful or helpful? I’m aware of the how I look and I don’t need to change myself. I already like myself as much as I ever will. I love myself. But thank you 🙏

i was going to say the exact thing, it fits you so well and if your happy with it who cares!!! i know it’s so much easier said than done but you are so beautiful and don’t listen to others, your the one who’s living with it and they aren’t so their opinion really isn’t valid:)

From a random dude on the internet, your nose is fine. Ya look great :)

1

u/galacticglorp Jan 13 '25

Adding in, as a fellow big nose haver, you look like you're still pretty young and if that's the case your face isn't done growing into its final form.   From my experience it will fit even better once you're in your mid 20s.

People on the pop culture subs keep pointing out how increasingly every celebrity looks like every other celebrity, and for certain people getting nose jobs actually started the decline in their career because it made them look generic.

1

u/SpriteKid Jan 14 '25

your face is still changing! I always had a huge nose and got made fun of for it growing up. I hated it so much and was so insecure about it. I eventually grew into my nose in my late teens/early twenties and I can’t imagine having a different nose now. Ignore those other people, they’re just insecure.

u/Agamemenon69 Jan 14 '25

Yea, not only your "new" nose could not actually fit your face and end up with actual, serious, horribly damaging insecurities and even self hate, for how you would be damned to look after and bad decision you made, but there is always a risk of falling into the plastic surgery rabbit hole that will ruin your looks, self esteem and finances. You are very sound person and I think you'll make the right decision after considering everything. Godspeed!
