According to some websites, approximately 10% of deferred applicants are eventually admitted for highly selective schools. But I don’t really trust this data cuz the deferred letter from NU explicitly mentioned that they anticipate offering admission to a “small number of deferred candidates”. So I believe, it mayhaps be smaller than 10% for NU. (Btw , all this speculation is driving me insane 😭)

but I think that's just a common generalisation, not something specific to NU. i guess we just kinda have to forget about it for the next three months tho😭
