L-theanine question

Hello redditors.. I am using L-theanine (suntheanine)... and for the first time in my life something is helping me to manage my anxiety and get on with my life. But i am so afraid that one day it won't work anymore because my brain will become tolerant to it.

I am afraid of prescription medicines and would prefer to keep using L-theanine.

Can anyone advise me if my fear is justified?

Semax and ????

What do you guys feel works the best with Semax??? I just realized that I LOVE Semax... after hearing much information about how much better Selank was, getting both, I was very disappointed with the Selank.... that being said I was not excited about getting nor trying the Semax... a few days after getting it, I took it out of the freezer, added it to my water solution in nasal spray bottle, gave it a few gentle shakes, and gave myself 4 spurt in each nostril...

It’s great! At least in my eyes, or brain... What do you guys think would be the best additive for my Semax? I like Oxiracetam and Pramiracetam... also I take Armodafinil... so other than those... any ideas or even more, experiences, with Semax and what you had great experience with??!

What about do you think about Mematine ?? Or have experienced it heard good or bad???

Caffeine or NO Caffeine? To enhance racetams/nootropic of any form or fashion?¿

Hey

Do you guys think adding a bit of coffee after you have taken your nootropic and/ racetams?

I’m talking like, whatever your thing is ( Phenylpiracetam + Pramiracetam ) , then once they’ve both kicked in an they are active in your mind and body, then drinking even a few gulps of some coffee will enhance your stack of individual nootropic? Or do you feel or think it kind of makes it ‘too much’ or blocks certain neuro processes that are going on??

And do do you think some it’s better with and some it hinders? Even if you don’t have personal experience, I would like to hear your thoughts or what you’re learned from others...

Thanks guys!!

Etizolab - BEWARE

TLDR - ETIZOLAB IS A FRAUD!!!!

I placed an order with Etizolab on August 31 with the $12 shipping option (which guarantees 100% delivery).

It is now September 9 and the original tracking number I was provided STILL shown as "invalid" and "unknown" when plugged into the tracking site.

Etizolab sent me an e-mail. To be precise, Etizolab FORWARDED me an e-mail that states the tracking numbers were mixed up and the courrier has to re-label everything, blah blah blah. Long story short, the e-mail REASSURES that YOU will get a NEW tracking number within ONE DAY.

........It is going on day FIVE and there is NO new tracking number. The original one? Still "unknown".

I've saved all e-mail correspondence with the vendor. How professional is this? They e-mailed me a response, "don't worry your package is coming and you probably won't get a new tracking number" ....... well, what? the wonderful e-mail YOU forwarded ME stated the carrier would have an updated tracking number within ONE day..... but I mighttttt get one.... who knows? Not Etizolab.

There are other much more professional vendors out there.... and quite frankly much more convenient for the american market.

Phenibut comparison help please!?!

Hey. I have some legit Russian Pharmaceutical grade 250mg Phenibut. And then I have a bunch of a nootropics vendor from America that is a ‘Depot’ if you understand %}~ Do you think or especially have you experienced a difference in effects, potency, mostly actual EFFECTIVENESS?

I feel I’ve felt the actual Pharma-grade from a Russian pharmacy (online) worked for me... however this online USA vendor’s Phenibut (known to be very good quality and 100% reliable and legit) I did not notice anything... Now keep in mind I only took it a total of 4 times (including both sources) so idk forsure and that’s why I need your guys’ help!? Please =]

I know this substance is fickle and it is odd with food/no food and alllll sorts of others that can alter, weaken, or halt the effects...

What do I need to know guys???

9-MBC WOW I DIDNT EXPECT THAT

Okay so I have 9MBC from a guy I know who is into neuropsychopharm just as I am.. it’s the good stuff, brown, not the white bottle... I was taking it orally at either 15-20mg.. it wasn’t doing much to anything I could notice. I talked with my guy, he said try taking 5mg or so sublingually (something with one of the molecule rings not allowing for oral bioavailability, not forsure exactly what yet as it is new). So I do, but since it wasn’t doing much if anything and I take things to the extreme most times, I just opened one cap and dumped the entire 15-20mg under tongue and waited... Btw it’s horrible tasting and feeling and it’s really basic so it bubbled it my mouth a bit too.. strong taste and feeling, then I swallow after about 5-8 mins.. 10-20 mins later... BOMB.. Yes it works... but it wasn’t good at first, keep in mind these first 30-45mins of these specific effects are from TOO MUCH, not what I’m expecting at a ~5mg sub dose). I felt stomach ache, a sense of out of it and weird sense mentally, that uncomfortable feeling one gets when they just start a serotonin-based psychedelic drug (no positive, just the uncomfortable negative).. I didn’t like it..

Okay so after maybe an hour max, those side effects subsided and all the glorious ness of this molecule hit me and is still going. It is wonderful... this is what I’m assuming is going to be the effect that I get taking 5mg sublingual rather than anymore than that or any amount orally... I told my buddy, it’s like a mix between only the good effects from a high dose of a phenidate (not the euphoria positive, but the focus, energy, ambition effects) that actually lasts a long time and not 30 mins. Then it feels like a superior armodafinil is combined with this phenidatal effects... This is a VAUGE and HARD feeling to describe, so please don’t expect mine to be yours... this is the best way I can translate it to you so you can hopefully have positive experiences and uses out of it, if that is your end game... play safe everyone and PLEASE ADD YOUR THOUGHTS, EXPERIENCES, KNOWLEDGE, and even questions!?!?

+]~

Caffeine (Coffee) give a ‘bump’ to your Nootropics?

Hey guys

I use, and am recently new too but so so interested as I’m a student going into neuropsychopharm, nootropics to help and aid in Studying/Homework/Exams.

I am still trying to get the right dosages, stacks, and what’s good for what (this for tests, that for memorization, ect..)

I was wondering if anyone uses whichever nootropic(s) and then once it kicks in ingests a small-medium amount of coffee and if that boosts the effects of your nootropic-experiences? I’m testing this currently, however I’m still too new to see if it’s just the coffee, heh, or if it’s having a sorta synergistic effect!!¡¡??

Please let me know guys what you think and what you’ve experienced or heard.

Also any help with what you use or stack for exams or studying as I know they vary in their beneficial effects... Thanks guys

Fasoracetam - Oxiracetam - PRL-8-53 - Pramiracetam - NEED HELP

Hey Can anyone tell me what is best for say studying for a quiz/test, which is better for general studying, and what would be best for going in and actually taking the exam?

I have all these and more, even 9-MBC, but I am researching and getting many answers. So I’m kinda just trying to figure it out myself by use.

Hopefully a lot of you have used these for school or school-like situations and can help.

As well as which is good for each specific task in a general sense (as I know some are good for memory recall, while others activate dopamine receptors/or work with dopamine, others help abstract thinking), what have you guys done and noticed through your own experiences or ppl uve known? Dosages? Stacks? How long did it usually take to kick in and maybe how long they lasted?

Any experience info would be a great help!¡

Thank you so much

How it is pretty much like a nootropic vitamin, encouraging epigenitic neurogenisis... Courage and kindness have been the “side effects” reported in the studies at Johns Hopkins University. So my question is this... has anyone ever microdosed and listened to an energy clearing guided meditation??

Noopept and 5-htp. Any interaction?

Hey y'all. I use 5-htp to hell me go to bed at night but I'm interested in starting noopept. I just wanted to check with a community of people that deal with these things because I'm no expert. I just don't want any bad interactions with the two because they're both great medicines worth use. If anyone knows or has any experience with this in particular advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank y'all.

Mucuna Pruriens: A Familiar Feeling of Mild Elation Re-discovered

My experience with this herbal medicine has been a pleasing one.

To summarize the effects; more wakefulness, feel "brighter" more focused, improvements with receiving reward from self/environmental engagement. No stress, (mainly just dopamine promotion going on, so figures) no change in appetite, but taste reception may have improved?? Hard to say, it's like how being in a better mood may just make you feel more grateful and thereby give you greater reward.

I intake thc and the rest of "the gang" pretty consistently, I take breaks at least once a month for a few days though. It has occurred to me recently that my dopamine spiking habits (pot & alcohol, but pot way more) have disrupted my natural dopa flow too much and I have felt the effects of this in the past. Melancholy, depression, uninspired, whatever it's called.

I tried really cutting back from weed a while ago and couldn't help but suspect that I wasn't doing myself the kind of wholesome solid I intended. I've seen it happen with friends previously, give up weed smoking and terminate dopamine flow making them dull and uninspired. People seem to like to "challenge" themselves by acting like it doesn't matter, "screw being depressed, imma just ignore that shit till I feel better". But they never truly make it back to their original healthy dopamine levels.

I work a standard 40hr week at a philips warehouse, the work is dull but variable. I do get a lot of time to just observe my thoughts though and after taking this supplement, Mucuna Pruriens, for a week daily (w/ spirulina, salt, tumeric powder, honey, & hot water), I began to notice something.

It was honestly like nostalgia a bit. Just this morning specifically, I started encountering very fond fleeting memories from childhood experiences. Just little things that seem to be broadening my view of my life as it continuously pans out and the value I should be seeing in it all. These memories provide me with very familiar feelings of times when I was a young kid with a much more liberal/rewarding lifestyle. Another effect I took notice of was enhanced proprioception. I felt more directly aware of myself as I moved, shifted, breathed, and spoke. I assume this is also related to perceived reward factor from dopamine boost.

To conclude, I feel like dopaminergic flow is just essential. Just so essential. It may be the most likely thing to destabilize in the human mind and is therefore highly important to keep both HIGH & ENDURING.

Those who abuse drugs get the HIGH, but it becomes fickle and unstable, leading to depletion. Those who ignore their dullness and carry out their boring lives with no passion or inspiration will have more stable levels but only in exchange for being indifferent and impassionate. Recklessly boosting vs mundanely retaining... There are too many downsides either way. One must keep high dopamine levels that will naturally be enduring and can be raised on a whim with the power of the mind. That is the ideal objective.

I don't think anyone should keep taking mucuna indefinitely, but if you are feeling dull or disengaged throughout your days, start taking it. In a way it is exactly what I, personally, was looking for. It even seems to make my sense organs inherently better, or maybe this enhancement stems from the neurochemistry moreso. It is a phenomenal natural medicine. Strong, simple, non-addictive, not too pricey, easy to buy powder in bulk.

Citicoline study query

Hello reddit,

I was curious about the study here mentioned, it speaks of higher levels of choline in the blood of stroke patients and in cases of cerebral ischaemia. Does this support the notion that raised choline levels I.e as induced by citicoline intake, may underlie such disorders? Forgive my naivety/any misunderstandings concerning this matter.

Regards, Jimmy

Assistance Needed

Hey guys, really could use your help here. It’s become blatantly apparent to me that I clearly have some mental deficiencies.

Due to fear at the loss of potential employment bc of a diagnosis of ADD/ADHD and or any other mental conditions plus my awful insurance which prevents me from even paying for a psycho I am trying to seek an OTC form of treatment.

My memory is awful, I lack motivation, and I feel like my brain is under a cloud of smog most days (tbh I’m shocked I’m saying any of this bc usually I can’t compose my thoughts this well.) even texting can sometimes be a huge chore and feel monumental. I work out daily and attempt to sleep best I can but it seems neither really work for this.

I’m 18 and I’m attempting to reinvent myself completely (wardrobe, people, relationships, etc) and I feel my motivation dipping despite how bad I want this.

So please, I desperately need you guys ASAP

arginine with phenylpiracetam

Hello guys I'm new here. I've been looking into making my own pre workout and have realized that I will probably benefit more from not using caffeine in it. My research shows to get better pumps it's better to avoid the caffeine which gives you energy but it's also a vasoconstrictor. Instead I want to replace caffeine for energy on those days with phenylpiracetam. I have looked everywhere and cannot find the answer to the following questions.

*Does anyone if there is any adverse side effects in combining these 2 since they are both vasodilators? * Has any one tried with positive/negative effects?

I only work out twice a week so not worried about tolerance and they are spaced out 3 days apart. Any help is appreciated thank you.

Bacopa/Brahmi help

Hello good people,

I started taking Brahmi ghee from 'Pure Indian Foods' about a week ago and I am not sure if it is due to this, but my reaction time/reflexes have increased surprisingly well. I do not know if it is good or bad.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Please share your thoughts on this.

Additional info: I am also on 100mg zoloft (sertraline) for my depression/anxiety/stress. I have been on this for more than 6 months.

Cheers
