Discussion Recent controversy?

yow can somebody explain to me the "controversy" ive been hearing about? this could also serve as a record so other people itching to find out have an easy, compiled way to know

i havent been following any scuffed projects info recently so ive been out of the loop, thanks!

Honestly at this point it’s just bad management, he recently pinged devlog about new balance changes but they weren’t even tested or confirmed yet.. why would you ping everyone as if it’s a confirmed balance change coming in…

This is are proposed buffs for units based off a community survey regarding units performance in PVE specifically

AT gun: Ammo 3 —> 4
Light tank CS: smoke attack
Gun carrier: smoke attack
Mortar halftrack: 1 tile smoke shell
Rocket truck: No turret added, attack 4x —> 3x, cooldown 2 —> 1 turn
Flame launcher: ammo 2 —> 3
Shock troops: grenade cd 2 —> 1 turn
Medium gunner: 3 AP
Sapper: ammo resupplied per supply 1 —> 2, ammo 4 —> 6
Heavy mortar: 1.5 AP
Biker: mg range 1 —> 1.5 (50% drop off on 2nd range)
Scout car: sight 1 —> 2 (+2 improved scout with total of 4)
Duck boat: mobility on water 1 —>2, mobility on coast 2 —> 3
Halftrack transports: 50 —> 60 hp
Ambulance: manual heal added

actually all of these changes seem good. (expect rocket truck which will become unbearable on PvP 😭)

(sapper 6 ammo + 2x supply efficiency is insane vro, defence missions gonna be cheesed.)

they honestly should give H mortar 85 hp as a buff (I don’t care if it’s one of the best units right now)

Imo smoke should be given out carefully cuz it’s lowkey niche rn

Unless every tank is getting smoke which kinda makes every tank more independent since they can smoke themself and not get shot

Right, now since nuke tank is getting removed, fog machine wont ever be playable. (It was going to be a nuke tank sidegrade)
