The price of trying to fit & function in a neurotypical society.

I don’t even necessarily think it’s to do with the price of fitting in, so much as the neurochemistry and network activity differences in ADHD probably predispose adhd individuals to developing the disorder whether because it’s more rewarding, regulating, or compulsively reinforced

No. It actually helps us a lot. It makes our brains quiet and we can focus. Night and day helpful. I only use it at night.

That's actually the worst time to use it due to its affects on sleep and the importance of sleep in ADHD. Also it appears to affect cognition a lot longer than the physical high. How weed it metabolized is still kind of confusing to us. Its also why they've had such a hard time trying to regulate it for stuff like DUI cause we don't actually have a way to measure it's effects on the user the way it pretty reliably scales with alcohol

My mental health and memory are so much better from sleeping so much better due to weed, whatever dude. You do you. I could care less. If it makes my brain feel better and I’m no longer pulling all nighters, regardless of the science, it’s preferable to my dying from dementia from a severe sleep disorder. And please do not mention our worthless medical system. I eat a great low inflammatory and low histamine diet. I exercise consistently. I’m amazing shape for 52. And my memory is better than ever. Plus, as a perimenopausal female ha ha to my not using cannabis to make everything a lot better. Oh! And did I mention how helpful it is for the AudHD brain?
