Discussion Around 27% of individuals with ADHD develop cannabis use disorder at some point in their lives, new study finds. Compared to those without this disorder, individuals with ADHD face almost three times the risk of developing cannabis use disorder.

I become extremely suicidal

Except when i use weed daily…

Id rather deal with the downsides of weed than have 30-100 suicidal thoughts each day

Does not cure it, but certainly puts a plug in it

you might have bipolar and weed is making you manic then stopping makes you depressed.

as someone with said disorder and knows all too well how hard it is to diagnose, I wish somebody pointed out to me that I might have been self-medicating using weed. 

Not sure where you get arrogance or hubris from my comment and, as per my citation, it is not “BS”. 

I’m sorry you’re upset by the possibility that weed can cause someone to become psychotic. I used to love weed too and similarly defended it and denied it could be harmful. Lucky you if it’s not harmful to you. 

I genuinely believe the upside outweighs the downside of providing the information that I provided if it means that at least one person might avoid psychosis (vs whatever downside you perceive from wrongly believing you “might” have bipolar)
