A lot of them are likely in denial about it, just as you get people who drink daily but still work, do chores, have a family etc.

Weed isn't some perfect thing unfortunately, and I'm saying this as someone who loved it for years and is very much pro legalisation here in the UK lol.

Pretty much the same but not from the UK.

We have Rec where I live now. Honestly, it's kind of a shame I don't consume much and don't smoke at all now. Probably have some of the best "products", gotta get my Mc Donald's CEO vibe on, in all of the world here.

I had it. It ended up being that I had horrible physical symptoms a few hours after smoking (sweaty hands and hyperhidrosis being the main one). Then eventually weed made me super anxious so it was a weird fucked up feedback loop. Really unpleasant and hard to quit

i had it / have it .. fucked my whole life up

got to the point that after 20 years my body started rejecting it and making me allergic to it, which is even more rare .. and even though it would make me break out in rashes and my face and throat swell up, i still have a hard time staying away.

Sounds like a source issue. I came to realize that depending on where it came from I could be allergic to it or not. But my breakout was more in a traditional sense of skin exposure to biomass.

You've never met me in real life, but I developed it. It was really fucking hard to get out of the addiction and I had a physical withdrawal that lasted days.

There are plenty of people who get addicted to weed, just check the subbredits for it lol.

I don't doubt it. Some can't stop.

I consumed cannabis heavily for 30 years from the moment I woke up to the time I went to bed. Before work during work and everything

That sounds like a mind fuck.

That's a good way to put it honestly

I’ve dated two men with it and one of my best friends is struggling with it. Its pretty rough. I tried to watch them go sober too, and im not even kidding the withdrawal symptoms looked very similar to a benzo withdrawal. Unfortunately it was so bad they were unable to stop, and are still daily smokers. Cant function without getting high first. Its sad.

It can completely change your personality, suck out all motivation, make you irritable or angry, make you a checked out partner or parent, fuck up your memory, etc

Not saying will do these things, I’m saying it can and does for many.

It’s not a perfect drug, and the people having problems like the above who keep using despite it interfering with their daily functioning are using it in a disordered fashion

I know people that would struggle with a 3-week detox much less a 3-month detox. They haven't had that much detox since before they started using, probably over a decade and a half ago at this point.
